got to admit, this strain is the best strain that i've grown of B's so far. don't know what the smoke is like, but overall growth is much more consistent than goji and snow leopard. definitely going to have to pick one more pack of these up when they're back in stock.

the only lady out of the 5 seeds. these were taken the day before her first nap.

here's the 2 boys that's been in flower for the 11-12 days. really not good at selection, but planned on collecting pollen from both for a future pollination for f2's.

Goji OG
#1
currently in week 6 and definitely looks like she is going to go nothing less than 9wks. i tried something different this run by only feeding dyna gro and mag pro for the first 3 weeks than switched to dyna bloom and mag pro from that point on. from the looks of it, it seems like tric production has increased but starting to yellow out a little to early. might hit it with some dyna grow the next feed and see how she looks from there.

currently on day 27. i think this one is going to be the frost bomb. even though it just started pushing out hairs, there is frost already on the leaves and stems. really looking forward to seeing how this one progress and finishes up. not the best shot of her, but once she starts putting on weight i'll take some better pics of her.

next update ill post some pics of the surviving testers.

Patanjali, what's up man? haven't seen you post up too much as of lately. i take it that you're not into the logging thing, but if you don't mind, through some of shots up in the thread man. im pretty sure others along with myself would love to see some other flavors (especially the Blue Tara) of B's up in here.

Mitch, coming from you (along with others) i am definitely taking that as a confident booster. funny thing is, the way you think about my skills is the way i think about yours. the only difference is that ive been admiring your threads way before i started mines. shit, everything i've seen you run always look really killer (iss, cvk, jtr and everything you're running now).
RESPECT and GOOD VIBES goes out to YOU and YOURS, and i mean that Sincerely.

Thanks CD! Been lurking in the shadows! I actually have a log on another site. I'll probably start a thread and post a few picts in the future. One of my Blue Taras has been growing a little funky (could be a user error), other one is growing fine. Since it doesn't look like many people are growing the Blue Tara I'll try to take some picts in a few days (they would be the ones in the very back of the room). Here's a quick shot of my White Lotus' and Goji OG's. They are only a few weeks old. I'm still thinking about dropping some Ancient OG and/or Snow Leopard. I'm trying not to do baskin robbins grows everytime, but I can't help it. I'm like a kid in a candy store! :) Also, here's a quick shot of my flower room.

ok, so you too use cal/mag with dyna. let me ask something, how much do you feed your ladies? im at 1200 ppms and it doesn't seem like it's enough.
I don't feed no more than 800 ppm in veg. In flower I get up to about 1100, but rarely anything over 1000 ppm. May not seem like it's enough for you because as I said earlier, some plants/strains/phenos need more or less N or P. When they get too much or too little N you can tell automatically pretty much. But feed too much P and you won't know until they start burning, or maybe not at all until your burning your nugs and aren't getting a clean smoke. That's the unwanted salt build up I was talking about, which is why I feed low with plenty N throughout the grow, only a little P and NO bloom boosters. Just works for me, but plenty ways to skin a cat ;)

You can always bump up P if you see a P deficiency, but N deficiency will really reduce growth and yield. Cal-mag also has a big part in this along with N. Does it seem your plants are staying pale? Or why does it not seem like they are getting enough? My first guess is N if you're feeding Bloom nutes. I'm no longer a fan of bloom nutes with HIGH levels of P and low levels of N. MJ needs her N!! :D

BTW, I am getting good healthy growth on all 4 of my Arctic Fallouts. They sure are little stinkers! Here's a quick veg shot. Maybe a month more veg til I start taking cuts and bloom them out:

looking real good, 619. hope to see them in full bloom when the time comes.

as for the advise, it sounds about right. last grow i started out using dyna grow and mag pro for the first 2wks, than a 50/50 mix of dyna grow and bloom for wks 3-4 and all dyna grow with bloom boosters for wks 5 and 6. after it was all said and done, i really didn't like the end result. weight went down and buds smelt a little different than the previous grow when i used dyna grow and mag pro almost all the way through.

as i stated in my last update, i am trying different ways to effectively use these nutrients and in my last 3 grows, using just dyna gro and bloom booster seems to be the best solution when running dyna gro.

as for the ones in coco, im at 1200 ppms and easily could bump that up by at least another hundred or 2. and not to mention, that's back to back feedings every other day.
for some reason, plain watering is like flushing when it comes my plants in coco.

Goji #5-Day 33
really not too sure about this one. don't know why it isn't budding up that much, but it seems to be putting out frost more so than buds. i mean it's frost up and down the stems and on the leaves, but very little bud action for it to be going on wk 5.

also notice this a few days ago, but don't know what to make of it. can anyone tell me what this is all about? i left the pic untouched so you can expand it to get a better look.

Everything is look'n Top Flight catdaddy ;) sadly it looks like those are nana's after closer inspection via zoom, folks have varying opinions...personally... if its the only spot i'd knock'm off very gently n keep n eye on her for more..although she is fairly early in bloom, its a toss up...u gotta alot of time invested in that lady to put her out for a 5 o'clock shadow, if she doesn't like the brazilian wax she gets....the axe, Peace SSP

SSP, thanks for the kind words and the much needed confirmation that i was looking for.

as of now, after much scrutinizing, that is the only spot that i've seen it on. and you're right about putting too much time into her just to give her the axe so early, will definitely keep my eyes on her from this point on.

Looking great as always CD! Which do you like growing in better, soil or coco? So there's a nanner on the Goji huh? Have you ever tried a product called dutch master reverse? I just recently heard of it. Not sure if you had any experience with it?

imho I'd shave the snow leopard more if you feel like it. I never worry much about getting a little heavy handed! :p

as of now, definitely loving the coco. besides having to flush it out and the little gnat problem, plants seems to thrive in it. i don't have to worry about salt build up, dries out often, it comes nice and compact (saves me a lot of space) and plants grow much faster in smaller containers than promix.
my only real problem in coco is underfeeding. i feel once i get that down, i should be able to increase my yields substantially.

yeah goji showing out a lit bit. hopefully that will be the last nanner she throws out for the rest of the grow. crazy thing is, she is frosty as hell. i mean trics up and down the stems like i've never experienced anything like this before.

definitely might check into the dm reverse. i've heard about it, but up until this point, i never actually consider getting any.

so you into defoliating as well. wish i would have known that, because i definitely would have asked you too. i know it's 619 thing, but haven't seen him on in the last couple of days, so i figured i just do some until he's back on.
at what point do you defoliate? is it just within the first few weeks of 12/12, or all through out?

also forgot to ask, what was the stretch like on the Blue Tara's? and how do you like the growth compared to the White Lotus so far?

I had thought about doing one all coco plant and/or one dwc. I say that now, then I think of all the work I already have lol. I've heard good things about coco grows. I currently add a little coco to my soil mixes, but again I'm an egg.

A couple of my Goji and White Lotus are starting to show sex. A quick glance, it looks like a sausage fest. I think I'm going to drop a few beans here soon. Dropping a Dinachem from Dinafem for sure. Then not sure on another strain. Did you like the snow leopard? And do you have any juicy info on the Bodhi drop that's about to take place? :D The Angel's Milk and Prayer Tower are looking pretty tasty. I'm hoping they run a promo with it also.

I don't know that I would consider myself a defoliator. I tend to pluck a few leaves here and there. Especially if they are shading bud sites. I'm constantly playing with how I train plants. I tend to let them veg a long time and keep cutting them back. Reminds me, the Blue Tara has a pretty decent stretch on it. It doesn't look to be a real big yielder either. I'll be interested to see how it looks in a couple more weeks. One ET - Blueberry Headband is getting a really great berry smell to it.

I did order some dm reverse. It was like $23 for a quart. I have a tranwreck cross that's popping a few nanners. Figured it couldn't hurt to try?

Everywhere I go I hear nanners are popping out lately lol. I have the same prob right now with a Pineapple Express. She's been in my garden 2 years now, and last few rounds she's been doing this. Weird because it wasn't happening before. Didn't know genetic drift would bring out the nanners in her lol. I don't get over excited when I see nanners. Hermie's is a whole nother story though, which I believe are two entirely different things. Any strain has the capability to throw nanners if stressed enough. If they do it regularly that's no bueno to me. If I see actual male sacks/pods which aren't just little single nanners, I blame that on genetics and the breeder, and get rid of those kind of plants entirely. With nanners I have had some which don't even pose a threat, which I think is the case with my PE (as well could be with your Goji) as it never makes seeds or seeds anything else. I think they're just blanks lol. So if you're only seeing one or two nanners, it's not the biggest deal and you can continue to finish her out. But if you can use the real estate in the bloom space, it won't be too hard to make the space :p Crazy about them small flowers too. Never really seen that. Glad you're realizing that Grow nutes are working out better through the grow. Now if I can get you to shake them boosters lol lol just kidding bro:D I'm actually just now switching to Veg+Bloom one part formula. Oh and in coco I feed with EVERY watering, so now I see why you're going high on ppm's since you're not feeding everytime. You got it though if it's working out for you, which from the looks of things it obviously is! Keep smashing these grows mayn!!
