FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil Question?
Has anyone had a recent issue with Fox Farms soils having a Gnat problem. I grow indoors in a steril enviro with all intakes ports filtered and exaust ports filtered... Only solution is either it came from the compony or it was on the bags exterior or something...? Any ideas how to avoid this problem in the future?
Ty for ur ideas.

what uppers sir, garden is lookin good bro. bagged soil can pick up bugs all along the line, in the factory, in transport or sittin around at a hydro store. theyve got small holes in the bags all over and bugs just know theres moisture in there. i left a bag of coco out in the backyard and the damn ants tried to collonize it

Wow, Yeah. Kinda thought so, but was thinking that since it came from the hydro store from a brand new open pallat that it would be cool, but guess i learned my lesson this round. I never have had the funds to run my own steril enviro, was sorta hoppen to be able to get away from preventative care and matinance hours spent in garden and redirected at the 9 to 5er... Oh well, back to the Cedar and Neam oils for me.
Question about the Hot Shot Pest Strip things that come in a soft package and are about 10 bucks, looks like a big yellow air head candy only really hard. Yeah those things are they cool to like cut up and what not? Was wondering if i could cut one into 4 chunks and put each chunk affixed to the top of the plant pots..? Just curious. I would only need them to last for bout a month also. Just a savings of like 80 bucks if i can cut em up.

If you plan on handling the "No Pest Strip", please wear a respirator and thick protective gloves.
Please do not allow yourself to be exposed to Dichlorvos for more than a few hours...

But is it okay to cut em into more usable sized pieces? or will it like cause it to release all its stuff at once and not over the 4 month advertised duration of use?
I hear u about taking caution whenever using chemicals, but all ill say is i work at an Enviromental Testing Facility, I know about hazardus stuff. U ever here about PCBs? Those things are fun to handle. lol.

@ 38ish Days Flowering
Ogiesel Pheno: #2
Apollo 13 BX Pheno: Short
The marks on the leaves of the Apollos and the Ogiesel behind the one in the pic are from GoGnats (Cedar Oil). Damn Fungus Gnats. I thought that they where dry enough to turn lights back on, but nope some spots where still wet obviously. Just a surface wound. lol. Suprisingly the Ogiesel in the back took it the hardest, but she is a fighter, and still on track with the one in the pic, so no root damage from the Gnats!, Just leaf damage from my dumb ass. lol. Next time ill stop for a second and just relax, and wait to apply when the night cycle starts. Ohh yeah and just so u know i did not apply this during flowering. i did it right before they went into flowering. And @ day 35 i upped the Nitrogen content with the MaxiCrop Seaweed Stuff on the Apollos Only. These Girls really seem to need that extra Nitrogen to finish up without really fadin out to soon.
Peace,

Bro I think those are the cutest cups I have ever seen. I was really just kidding ya but I would love to have a few for some seedlings adorable plants should have adorable homes.
I have read up bro and I agree with you totally the Apollo's are so long lifed they need the extra N late. A lot of Sub's strains are late feeders including querkle which I will have a nice cutof for you if I can ever get the veg area free of mites.(sigh) The need for late N is why super soil has so much blood meal in his formula.

Everybody got transplanted today to their bigger containers.
I also picked up some Superthrive(10$) and plan to add that with a little of the Maxicrop Seaweed stuff(17$) to equal the Advanced Nutrients version called B52(47$). We will see if there is a difference other than my wallet. Im really doubting it though. lol.
