They made my wife eat a microwaved egg with some sort of radiation in it
Now, they are taking an X-ray of it going though her :)

Dam thats hard core ken. Hope she's alright bro.
Thanks for the well wishes Prime :) Yeah she is ok..She is better than she was a couple months back..all kinds of shit was happening to her at once. :hungover:

Ah! Nuclear imaging, one of my favorites! (My dad was a radiologist.) I was imaged in a similar manner, but they injected the radioisotopes, when I was Dx'd with the parathyroid tumor. They're lookin' at her guts, eh? At least she didn't get the dreaded barium enema! The stories I grew up with...

It's probably not a good thing that I enjoy being imaged. But painfree viewing of my own innards is just.. it fuckin' rawks.

So who is cleaning the brown spot off the couch here? Ha Ha ( did someone spill their coffee?)

My first thought with the bread... Orange butter.
Orange zest and butter. The better the orange and the lighter you zest it, the better the butter.

I can only think of one improvement for the butter.

Wow, coffee may help prevent Parkinson's? I just learned that my 2nd ex-father-in-law (I've had three.. no! Four! Holy shit), stepgrandfather to my sons, has been put in a nursing home due to the advanced state of his Parkinson's. He's a former LAPD homicide detective, was never a very nice man. Hm.

He who spotted it gets the honors. :p

Good Morning Farmers.

It's been a rough week....pain levels have been intense, I just want to crawl out of my skin. I totally did this to myself too, cleaning the hoods/glass/changing bulbs/scrubbing walls/ceiling. Totally over did it, too much in a single day. I can be a stubborn Italian....just wanted to get it all done. :-( Now, I pay the price....

I know I'm not alone here on this....chronic pain is difficult to deal with, but when it flares, and becomes really intense, and you just can't get away from it....for day after day....its been 6 days now.....UGH.....forks in my eyeballs sounds better than this!

mini rant over....

Lady out.

Hugs, sister, it will pass and you'll learn my lesson--chunk it out into little bits. Although to be honest, I'm currently in the midst of doing it to myself right now, too.

I got a wild hair across my ass, we've been in this house since '05 and we've only painted the kitchen and living room. So I decided I'm doing the master bedroom. After spending the week preparing the room, getting things moved, etc, I spent the day yesterday doing the first wall. It's a very dark gray, almost black. 16.5'x10' of wall painted so dark is very dramatic (and talk about sore from going up and down the ladder all day long! My knees, my thighs, oh my!). But I'm only 1/4 of the way through, I've got three more walls to paint, so I start again today. Forks in our eyeballs is *not* better!

AND! Here I was so fucking careful with the edging, and then when I was rolling the rest of the wall I fuckin' kissed the ceiling with the roller, SMACK! God damn it. Now I've gotta find the white that matches the ceiling.

(Looks brown in the photo taken at the end of the day, but it's more like taupe. This morning it's much cooler in shade, definitely dark, dark gray.)

Brioche,that thing looks damn good.

500g strong white bread flour, more to dust,
7g salt
50g caster sugar
10g instant yeast
140ml warm full-fat milk
5 medium eggs (Free range!)
250g unsalted butter, softened, more to grease.
Couple of drps of vanilla extract
Choc chips!

Flour in, salt and sugar on one side, yeast on other. Next add milk and eggs, first mix slow for 2 mins then medium (or faster) for about 6/7 mins. should be all nice and smooth and a bit shiny. Add butter and mix for 6 mins. Finally add choc chips and mix them in slowly. I like the dough a bit tighter to hold choc chips up.
Leave in fridge for 6 hours minimum till holds its shape, then take out, shape into balls, outside of greased up and baking paper lined tin, working around edges and last one in middle, I do 9 balls, 8 around edge and last in middle.

Next put in tin in jiffy bag or loose clingfilm and leave for 2 housr or so till risen above tin edge.

Bake for around 30-40 mins at 175-180 in fan oven.
