I lived in mushroom heaven, A small island in the Frazer river called Barnston Island the name says it all. Farms with cattle and we ate mushrooms for breakfast lunch and diner. We dried thousands upon thousands of them. 6 hippies 20 -23 living in a 4 bed farmhouse perpetually stoned.was there after a particularly heavy stint of abusing mushrooms as a teenager through college. eventually they do kick back and will let you know when enough is enough. had my first trip in over a decade about three months ago. had a ton of fear going into it, so dosed quite low compared to what i used to dose and was grateful for the conservative approach.
Mushrooms taught me about biorhythms where we all have a base line curve that floats along sometimes up sometimes down but not too far either side of the baseline.
When you take Booze or drugs we go up ( for the most part, some take us down) on the curve & depending on the drug the higher or lower we go... the back side is the drop after taking the drug can be pretty deep and we feel like shit so we take more drugs to get back to the base line quicker....
long subject but Mushrooms can take you way up real quick and drop you like a rock in a swimming pool. Never ever go on long binges of daily consuming of mushrooms.....I can't do them again.......had a lot of fun but enough is enough
