It's just the feeling of the vapor.
It feels like there is acid on your lungs.

Which makes sense since the first 3 low temp compounds are in acid form.

And we know vaporizing is heating up the compound up enough to change it from its solid form to its vapor form by reaching its boiling point.

But it's vapor form is the same form as it's solid. So inhaling those acids is what I believe gives us the sensation to want to cough.

When you combust flowers the extreme heat can convert compounds to less acidic variants. Making it seem as if the sensation to cough is less.

This is just my opinion though.

also, i tripped.. i was like taking a hit and my battery died.. happen yesterday too.. but this time i went to get my spare battery, and its dead. im like wtf fuck.. hah.
then i calm down enough to realize it got locked some how. hha, fucked with my head. i like this pen.. took a bit to get use to vapor tho, i like smoke for some reason.. not cig smoke tho.. cough coucgh. hah.

anyhow, i need to buy spare bulb iv drop this thing on my carpet to many times.. just waiting for it to hit something hard..

You flash freeze fresh uncured plant and then press it. I think that's Frozen Rosin. Frozin. Or as I say Live Rosin (I don't think anyone else uses this term, even thought it makes sense to me).
