Just Curious, When you top your plant do you remove the leaf under the cut. Its is a technique we used in the greenhouse on poinsettias and i have used it on my plants. On the poinsettia we took the 2 leaves under the cut. The thought is that by doing that it forces the hormones down farther and encouraging more even branching to the lower branches. just by cutting the top off will redirect all the plants energy to all tops, don’t think removing 2 leaves does anything.. i usually wait to top until the side branches have grown a node or two or more than that way the branches will grow faster and you basically just have to train the top 4 branches to keep an even ish canopy.,
sorry i do not have any supersuckers, i do know about them, not quite my stuff, i collect mostly stuff from 1975-1985.. metal, rock, soft rock, AOR, retro 80’s, some country, some reggae.. don’t collect jazz, classical, blues..

Hey I like your setup @GNick55

Why do you have lights sideways and what kinda lights are they? Also was wondering about karma.. I have a bottle of liquid karma and was wondering what it’s good for? I know it’s good for Foliar spray but I also noticed it’s one of the first things you fed the plants with. Can you give me any advice on using liquid karma? I will be starting out with autoflowers.

I was thinking to might need some uvb lights maybe put in some sorta increments of stress to the plant into producing more thc.

hey brother, liquid Karma is basically vitamins and minerals so not really a nutrient per say.. it’s just the brand name i use., the side lightning when i use it is nothing special it’s just T5’s to help with getting more light around the sides and at the time the hps lights i was using did not have much of a blue spectrum, but now i’m back to better lights so i’ll won’t be putting in side lighting anymore..

Nickolas, what would you do now? Haven’t had time to do much so I freeezed it. ( Press dried and let dry thin over night, then froze) Grate her tomorrow? No end goal really. Just gonna press some though.

yes put in the freezer till your ready to grate and let dry..

well currently have 2 plants going as i’m waiting for early january to start the next serious grow,( the seeds) and these were just something to add in quickly with other plants being switched into flower but those plants suffered badly from white powdery mildew and being time to switch it just wasn’t worth it, so they were chopped done and disposed off, but than i notice the slow growth and other signs of stress in these two clones and within a couple days the wpm showed itself, so i was going to throw them out too, but i thought i try to save them, so i clean everything in the rooms with h2o2 and isopropyl.
than i sprayed them with milk and it has saved them in time for flowering.
milk has been proven to be helpful to plants, countries with lots of intense sunlight use it to save all sorts of crops where as milk for cannabis can used early on a day which will be hot and sunny or say a 1000 watt metal halide..
i’ve used it before on plants but wasn’t fully confident to advise others to do, as i’ve never had it indoors. but now i’m a believer of spraying the plants during veg just for the benefits to the plants it gives them..

How's your health and your family fella been away for a bit and not had any look at the farm. But now I should have a better chance of getting back to the office. Lol. Peace brother ✌️❤️

i’ve ordered the solis tek matrix with the remote.. i think my issue is a circuit breaker in the house or maybe the plug itself, having an electrician friend come by and fix/upgrade if necessary..
i’ve been trying plugs with different things etc and i have the metal halide going with the ballast about half the day so far so see what happens tomorrow, and had the t5’s in the plug where the ballast was and the circuit breaker flipped off with those lights.. so hopefully an easy/quick fix..
plants have gone through enough lights on/off the last couple days trying to figure out stuff..
oh and i dropped my phone and broke off two branches that i decided to clone so if anyone wants a couple imperium X clones let me know.. southern ontario area..

your telling me, buddy told me it was weak plus the crack,
good timing on getting a new one!
i still ordered my new ballast as i’ll get more out of my lights with it and now i’ll have a good working back up with the one i have now, so now i have a replacement for everything growing if something happens..

I had a 1000w mechanical ballast for 20 years and when It blew I replaced it with a digita.l 2 years later it blew and I needed another it blew 1 year later I needed another and I said fk it I'm back with a mechanical...about $100 delivered I can replace 2 of the 3 parts if they go at about $50 each....I like the heat they put out and I can handle the hum. Its going to take a lot of convincing for me to go back to digital

i’ve had magnetic ballast in the past and i should have one of those for a replacement also if needed, but they don’t get all out of the light as a high quality/commercial use ballast does..
