i wouldn't call it luck. years of experience growing, a somewhat dialed environment, and the right space. hand trimming this amount is not fun. frankly, it's a pain in the ass. i don't even use the shit that gets on my fingers, i wash it into the cup my scissors sit in when they get too sticky to be usable. there's nothing glorious about this stage of growing. it outright sucks.Lucky. I've got 2 plants drying right now that I'm anxiously waiting to trim but am trying a much longer slow dry this time with a little more humidity and its looking like it may pay off. I am NOT a patient person lol so it's killing me. Enjoy all that yummy resin goodness lol
Thank you and I meant no disrespect by saying "lucky". I just picked up this no found passion of growing, though been a landscaper for over 20 years, it seems that I love to overcomplicate everything and or try and overdo things with good intentions. I know I should probably stay focused on one thing at a time but damn, those plants are what my wife calls "my babies" and everyday I'm doing something. My grow tent is literally right next to my bed to where I can just roll over and unzip it just to look and smell as I want to lol.i wouldn't call it luck. years of experience growing, a somewhat dialed environment, and the right space. hand trimming this amount is not fun. frankly, it's a pain in the ass. i don't even use the shit that gets on my fingers, i wash it into the cup my scissors sit in when they get too sticky to be usable. there's nothing glorious about this stage of growing. it outright sucks.
that being said, try to hit the rule of thumb of 60/60. 60F/60%. 10-14 days at that will yield perfectly dried product ready for jars.
no disrespect taken :) growing is more therapeutic than smoking man. a lot of that landscaping knowledge will carry over too. one of the key things, as you know when you plant a new bush or tree, is time heals most things. in this hobby, time makes for much better product, so get that patience on lock. it'll be easier when you have a rack of jars full and the honeymoon phase wears off, i promise lolThank you and I meant no disrespect by saying "lucky". I pulled 450 grams last grow in my 3x3 tent with a ES300 running at 70% so that's approximately 270 watt'sI am curious as to what people are pulling off their lights. How many grams do you harvest for how many watts of light used. Obviously lots of factors make things different. Feel free to list any details about your findings. Kind of Light is key to understanding ratio. All answers will interest someone.

Last run was 4 plants each under a1000 hps, no co2..80 gpw.
4 plants each under a 1000 hps in 16 x 13 x 12 room.

I'm currently a little over 3 weeks of veg and I'm running an HLG 350R 330watt LED, I'll be sure to follow up with you after harvest which is quite some time from now, but I'm curious as well.I've only ever seen a few people claim 2g per watt that I actually believed
That was true 50 years ago when florescent was the best light and loose bud was the norm. With today's average buds grown under led, 1oz/sqft means you had lots of problems or you wasn't trying for yield.Ounce per square foot is more realistic.
Not saying you can't get 2 grams per watt, because you can.
welcome to trim jail bra.. lol I ruined a perfectly good brand new dry flower vaporizer holding the button down with hashy hand. Resin go into the on/off button = gone.fuckered that all up. but y'all can understand wtf i meant. typing around a trim bin with sticky fingers is a motherfucker. gonna have to wash my desk with rubbing alcohol after i'm done with all this shit.
Pretty much how it works for me no matter what. Sometimes I get a bigger plant but thats a fuck-ton of work.Ounce per square foot is more realistic.

Such a useless measure in a semi perpetual grow I never measured. I'm getting to the point where I won't even weigh my yield because it doesn't matter I'm going to smoke it all myself anyway
