Today is a good day to find excuses to hang out where it's always bright, sunny and warm... my growroom! I use it like a mental hot tub- I can go in depressed but I can never manage to stay that way for long in there.

kids out of school for 2 weeks, not much to do, maybe finish my auto top drip system for my veg tent... other than that maybe a few orders and some coffee

collecting washing boxing delivering 150 dozen eggs, its payday.
Guy came today for 15 dozen, looked the type, a session in man cave with the Sky High blueberry cut dube, the guy had to chill for 1/2 hour before leaving after less than 1/2 dube....
finally got some proper adjustments to front end on hot rod so off I go....Car rides so nice 70 mph let go of wheel cruise straight, a dream ride,could nap and cruise if needed....

Was raining this morning so I started my day with Jimi, coffee and hash dube....
I just love Jimi, 40 plus years still sounds incredible....

its gone now! No smoking so i got a fresh batch of cookies im eating. I ate one a cpl hours before the dentist and was feeling great. My buddy has a vaporizer too if I need it.

Chores done, Cosby kids dropped off in the pool and flushed down the pipe , nice hot apple wood fire blazing, will make eggs benedict for brunch with this pork bacon from a pasture raised pig that's simply divine.

Nice, daytime sexual activities on the farm. :D

I'm pickin' up the granddaughter today. Taking her younger sister some pretty baubles because we were Skyping and I was showing her the stuff I'd gotten for our surprise (the trip to see the ballet) and her little sister asks, in her tiny little squeaky voice, "Whatchoo got for me, Mamia?"
(I am known as mah-mee-ya, or if she's stressed or hollering, ma-MEE-YA!)
So I had to get her some pretty baubles because in my family we don't leave other kids out just cuz they're not related to us.

I'm excited, because she's the only one I've ever really gotten to dress up myself. Sure, I dressed up my boys, in Little Lord Fauntleroy outfits, velvet overall shorts with jackets & bow ties. But it's nothing like dressing up a little girl in shiny baubles!

That is the biggest battle my father and I have......He only acknowledges my daughter, not my kids from my wife/fiance. I hate it and it has causes much grief, because If they are ok for me to raise and be apart of, he should also unconditionally. My mom is the opposite, she goes out of her way to make sure ALL grandkids are happy and taken care of.

And baubles, dont get me started, I do a mean hair do! but man the HURT if they snap and that little acrylic ball cracks your knuckles!!! :D

I'm TERRIBLE doing hair, maybe you could give me some pointers.

Being as I was raised by my folks, my mother and sister buy my granddaughter, to whom I am not actually related by blood, all sorts of stuff, almost more than me it seems sometimes!

As I packed and sorted the final bit of my stuff, I came across these family heirlooms. I thought I would share these old as hell bamboo fly rods with our fishers here. There is another old finwick around somewhere that I might post when I dig it out.

Real cool looks like you got couple of tip sections, really don't know too much about bamboo, the technology these days blows the old school stuff away but bamboo is highly collectable.
would be nice to see someone re do and show it off or even use...
Could be valuable...

Only value is sentimental. The 4 peice bamboo rod is in great shape and worth about 200.

Found the fenwick. looks like a virgin. The cloth case isnt even faded.

The fenwick is 3 1/8 and I aint unwrapping the others to look.
A quick search on the fenwick, assuming it is a virgin like it apears to me, worth about 200. Not that it matters to me.

Nice you may want to get a reel and start casting, that 3 wt is lite would be a gas catching a fish on it...
