With taxes done, eclipse over and nothing to do indoor but clean... I think today is the day I get to do some garden work before I go to work. Few months late, but better late than never.

Forgot, tax day!! Mine has been done for a few weeks now. Even got a check from the Fed. Still waiting on the state. Pay in so much $$$$$ just to get a slap in the face at the end of the year. This is the LAST year I will be in a high tax bracket. My five year buy out from my business is done after this year. Gonna do everything I can to drop off the grid and start receiving government handouts rather than paying for them. Hello Medicare and social security. Wondering what other entitlements I qualify for. Paid in all my life and now its time to get mine.

Whats up pute?glad tax seasons almost over,stressful time of year for us but i already have a few fishing trips planned thank god.Going to run up to the sierra for a quickie 3 dayer for the opener,then 3.5 days in the northern channel islands for halibut and white seabass on my buddies big boat for memorial day,bring on the fishing!Do they take those EBT cards at the tackle shop?

Both are in WYO and will go when the dry fly fishing is at it's peak. If I could only figure out a way to get the gov't to pay for it I would stay longer. Why do business owners get in a bad mood at take it out on their employees who are the one making the money to keep the business running? Guess he has problems at home but no reason to do what he did today. Like the old saying goes "Dont Bite the Hand that Feeds You", I went into work today and the owner took everyone in the back room and cussed us all out with every name in the book. This was the last straw for me, dont cuss me out in front of everyone and think the I am going to deal with it because I need a job lol, Bitch please:mad: I just make a few calls and I will have another job just like that. I have zero tolerance for being paid to work for someone and being cussed out! I am a grown man their is no reason why I would have to put up with it. Told us if we dont like it get the F@ck out. so I left. I wish I had the funds to open my own auto repair business I know it would be the best in town!

Errand day for me followed up by a dentist appointment. Two hundred sixty bucks for x-rays and cleaning. Thankfully nothing else needs to be done. Good for another year. Now time to stick my nose in and see if anything needs attention in the grow. Hopefully the Lucenda has dried enough for a dry trim.
Will be attending lots of gatherings this weekend. Don't think I will go downtown for the festival. To many stoner's. ha ha

Today I have a few moments of trimming to get done, then it's back out to the gardens. Got a hair appointment tomorrow, thank God, shit's getting unruly. AND I have a dentist appointment on Monday, yuckyay! Lost a filling, and have other issues. Since I'm driving myself I get no little blue pill, God damn it. But out of pocket should be nothin' more than $20 because I did some searching, some more searching and then did some more and found us a dental plan to supplement Dave's employer's "plan" that consists of a cap of $1,000, just like they offered the year of my birth--1964. Now, how far did that $1K go 50yrs ago vs now...? That's right. Last time I went to a dentist he sent me home with a $10,000 'recovery' plan. Dude! My teeth ain't fallin' out of my head! No, they're far from perfect but good Lord, a CAR? No, more like your vacation.

This is why I usually end up flying out to Puerto Rico to have my family do the work. $2K at the most and I'm done.

Twenty years ago one tried to talk me into redoing some old fillings. He said they were going bad and for $1,000 he would replace them. (2) I declined and no other dentist has said a thing about it. I even asked yesterday and the dentist said they were fine and whoever did the original work did a wonderful job. Also had a dentist try and talk me into replacing all my teeth with implants. Twenty grand for white, perfect teeth!!! Ahhh, NO!! My teeth are fine and will be around as long as I am.

WTF? Seriously, they wouldn't give you sufficient pain meds because they suspected you might be smoking pot?????? The last time I went to a dentist we ended up having a very frank discussion about cannabis and my use. He had a hygienist who liked to snicker and make the typical rude remarks about pot heads and the like. I fucking took her to task, and haven't been back since. I did, however, convince him to some degree that there might be something to using cannabis medically. All I had to do was ask him, "So..! How's that coke & opium workin' out for ya? The aspirin's a freebie." He got quiet, then nodded his head and conceded. The hygienist? Twat.

Fluoride?? I drink filtered r/o water but frankly I haven't had a cavity since the govt started putting it in our water. You may not like it but It has worked for me.

All I know is I haven't had a cavity in over 40 years. Don't remember what it feels like to have a needle shoved into my gums. I don't drink the stuff...just brush my teeth with tap water. Might have helped me turn gray...didn't really need any help doing that though.....

By the way Sea, I would rather be stupid and retired than smart and working.
