What kind of boosters are you going to be running? Also I notice you have your lights down in there are the verticals down in there. Are they all down that far?

I will be running Big Bud and then Overdrive at the end. I like to have my lights at the top of my plants. I try and keep them so the highest point of the light is a little higher than the top of the girls. During veg I keep them up. This seems to keep fat solid budsights on down the plant. Too high and I noticed my girls never filled in enough all the way through. Running verts I try and use all the light around the plants and very little above the plants...

I have been very interested in using those but have never pulled the trigger on them. How many do you run in your system. I have been asking about them and if you could just have one in your epi? I have been thinking of replacing the diffuser with one, seeing I don't run it in my epi anyways.. Do you have any pics of it doing its thing? We can jump over to my thread so we don't jack his up, and I would love to have your thoughts on them on the thread in case I want to refer to them..

i don't have any pictures I'm sorry, but i would run one in each plant site. right now I'm trying out a new system i just got done with that is more like a mpb then a uc, I'm small time only a 50 gallon system. but i run 3 venturis in a 50 gallon tote basically. puts out twice as many bubbles with the same pump i was already running for my chiller as the 80w air pump i was using. and they are much smaller bubbles with no air stones to disinfect or replace. like i said this is my first run since i switched but it looks very promising so far. seems stupid i didn't think of it sooner now, its the simplest thing

with the uc you'd have to do a lot of modifying, like flip your pump so its sucking from the epi then through a manifold to each plant site then through the venturi. which you want at the bottom of your bucket

How many Venturi pumps would be ran? I have ran my UC backwards before so that is not an issue. So are you saying we would be pulling from the epi thru a Venturi to each bucket or just through the rear manifold of the UC?

That's pretty cool stuff.. I'm going to have to think how to use this in the UC.

Yeah there has been a few long ones. I waited a little too long to build and set up trellises for the coco tables, so I know I will have more work ahead of me keeping everything up. For my UC I have been playing with so many ideas on how to hold the plants up. It seems the girls have done best when they are less confined. Wrapping cages around the buckets seemed to pack the inner too much and not let the plant open up as much. Running verts and having no overhead I feel letting them open up towards the light and opening the middle up seems to get them their most light. That was my thoughts on these cages, so far I like them and it was half the cost of the module cages CC sells for the UC. We will see at harvest how much I still like them. ;) Thanks for sticking around, things are starting to get fun.. I cant believe the growth just in one night. The girls seem to like their home...

From what I am seeing so far the UC is in the lead in every way this round. I feel it's going to be hard not to switch this room to a strictly UC room next round. The UC is so much easier all around and seems to cost less to run... It looks like I might do a 16 site 16k vert run next.. Although I do feel I should give coco another shot adapting in what I have learned. I see that my yield could be better with some changes in coco but the work would be more and the cost still is higher than the UC, so the UC would still be in the lead in my eyes..

Love the cages.

Love the fact that you've packed the room - by week six you won't even be able to move in there!

You're a Boss, and I'm sure you're gonna kick the shit out of this round. Only suggestion I have is to keep an eye on the coco tables for RA's - I've seen those fuckers wreck so many coco grows late in flower, so have that Bayer ready...

Im not sure about the coco beating the UC in the final smoke test. I haven't seen any of my boys grow the same strain in coco or rw and touch the quality of the UC. I'll hope I am wrong though... ;)

What's up All4, dude your crushing this run I don't know how I missed this thread. I'm a little late but I contacted H&G asking multiple questions about Drip Clean awhile back. When they responded some 4 weeks later, they basically told me that the product was way to far diluted if used as recommended to effect a strong microherd. I didn't stop using it to this day and know I have a lot of micro-biology going on in my rhizosphere because anytime I top dress with anything living, it'll get swarmed in a matter of hours with what looks like the fuzziest white mold but is actually my fungi getting busy on the microbes/spores in the dress. Also I liked keeping the drip clean in my regiment with coco because I noticed I could tone down my run-off by 50% and get no residual salts anywhere in my containers. Hope that helps someone.
