I dig on the floraflex for hand feeding my moms in veg. Other then that way to much work to clean and no real benefit from kiting out flower rooms with them from what I've personally seen. Just something else to clean at the end. Not to mention the cost. I will give it up to them for making the product tho. Works good in certain situations for me.

imo 'curing' is bullshit made up by outdoor growers to make you feel like you were getting something special when they sold you last year's old cruddy flower.

If your herb doesn't smell and taste its very best the moment it's dried, something's wrong.

It's a fact that time, heat, and light all destroy terps. The smell of your herb does change over time, but that change is the lighter and more volatile terpenes evaporating. The difference is literally less complexity.

though i am someone who does not cure...and pretty much the same belief

[the lose the chlorophyl jar thing does not make 'me' happy]

there are people i really respect making "cobs" using a curing technique

tne fermentaion seems to do something

and talking about surpisingly good outcomes....

so there yah go..

I'm going to try the Malawi style cobs eventually but some said it was harder to vape but the high was not comparable to regular flower but much better

A few things I've learned from them

*they swear by the vpd chart. From what I believe they do around 80 degrees and 70-75% humidity in veg and have seen different things for flower.

*they grow in 6 inch rock wool cubes for entire grow

*im confused as to what nutrients they use. I know I've seen jackmayoffer use heavy16 but they advertise veg+bloom all day long on instagram. But whichever line they use I think they do part a, part b, and usually just cal mag. But I'm not 100%.

*to those who follow them on instagram you know that they do the one node and flip. Pretty much they strip the entire plant except for the new growth before they move to flower room.

*their irrigation system consists of pumps with pvc to octa bubblers and use floraflex caps on top of their rock wool cubes along with the floraflex clips and 1/4 lines top fed.

If anyone has anymore input or opinions just post on here!

what they are doing is "Swachizzing" by removing all fan leaves before flip - this greatly improves light ti bud sites

well then, I have been indoor from outdoors for a long time now, I will tell you I don't have any other way to describe that there is a noticeable difference with a slow dry and a proper long cure as compared to not. The proof is in the pudding. No doubt in my mind. I am a believer. :fire::fire::fire::fire:

jungle boys .. drip system with 6" rockwool..octabubblers and pc drippers, closed environnement (air conditionner co2) multifeeding during bloom (6-10 shots /day)
water content is monitorized ( grosens and others ..) they use what tomatoe and other pro call crop steering ... few infos on forum..

around 70% water content in veg in the cube... with 20 % dryback that must happen overnight .. in flower with well roted plant the cube must retain around 60% WC ideally, with 25% dryback until the next morning
which makes
--->70%-50% in veg
--->60%-35% in bloom or even dryier on toward the end of bloom.
important: no need to aim for runoff on each shot, only one time on the first saturation of the day...

when the plant is well rooted they start multifeeding, they keep the medium saturated during lights on... and aim the right dryback that must happen overnight

other tools to steer the plant in more vegetative (grow) or generative (fruit/flower)

-the time of the day when to start the first irrigation
-->1/2 hoursafter lights on to steer to vegetative
-->2/3hours after lights on to steer generative

-the time of the last irrigation (last shot of the day)
-->1/2 hours until lights off for vegetative
-->3 until lights off for generative

another thing in bloom ... you mustnt get runoff till miday .. you start your first irrigation 3/4 hours after lights on, with plants at full transpiration. you need to slowly water you block until saturation 2 hours after.. which makes drain around day +6hours..

the grower must estimate when to stop the last irrigation to have the right dryback at the right time the next day ...

these methods always works great in coco .. maybe with some adjustements no even sure depends of the coco

lot of pro shit that will make cough many, but that how its done

i dont live in usa so i have no idea how is their product, just saw photos, but irrigation method is one of their secret, and also environnnement stability, elite strains/selections, nice drying method like you were talking and manyt other things ..

peace :D

Oh yea he's killing the game for sure. But sometimes i feel like he's just advertising all those companies but idk. Either way I'm willing to try everything. Also I think they foliage spray regalia which is a fungus/powdery mildew preventative. I've been using that for some time and works great
what about "Terp-Gerp" by Promidal Soultions - (a mist spray of kelp , ect use up to week 4 of flower = promoted terpene development

I probally wouldn’t go that late, I don’t like spraying anything after day 21.

+1. Without a doubt. 15+ years of indoor growing experience here, over 100 strains and have learned from some of the best to ever do it. You may not cure what you dispense but I’ll be damned if I don’t cure what I consume.

Imo if you need something to boost terps you’re doing it wrong.

I've been emulating their growing techniques and have been studying them like crazy for the past few months, I'm glad someone started this thread! They're great guys.
-they do a two week flush and let the plant die on the vine after that. I think it's for 24 or 48 hrs
-they veg under light emitting plasmas
-they flower under gavitas
-they run the same nutrients veg to flower which I've heard is hydroponic research's veg and bloom formula but I could be wrong about this.
-they follow the VPD chart
-they dry at 60 degrees and 60% humidity

If I'm wrong about any of this please correct
for two weeks also. berner talks about all the shit they do on his raps. two pounds from one light. imho these boys got lucky with the hermy cookie, and already have advertising on lock! if a rapper talks about your stuff, your in! and have been using this cookie line for all the new stuff. am more a fan od bodhi, reeferman, soma, bog.

I have to make a retraction. I said i heard jungle boys spray weed with flavored terps. I am wrong! I read that its snoop dog weed in the bay area.

Sorry jungle boys. It was another hyped up bullshit marketed company.
