Things are going swell. Temps and humidity have been pretty spot on. Definitely better than last grow. I got the veg tent fully operational and ready for some clones and seeds. I’ll try my first attempt at cloning tomorrow. Snapped some pictures. I lowered the cobs a little bit too much and started to burned a plant but backed off the light before any significant damage. Haha. Watering every 2 days now, it’ll be everyday soon. Mid flower I’ll probably be watering twice daily. Fuck.

On August 22 they were about 19”. Today week later the tallest one is 26”. Growing fast. I have been utilizing LST. These are going to be little Christmas trees harvested around Christmas time. Haha. No topping this run. I’m bored. Let’s chat.

Looks like you upgraded to stainless steel drip rests for the plants from the PVC in the earlier pictures. I want to do something like that for my next grow. Did you buy it off the shelf or custom build? We have a lot of recycling places here so easy enough to wander around and see something that might be adapted. Lots of good ideas to copy on the farm. Viva!

I was the picker and it wasn’t missed by me . Those stainless steel racks were also found in the trash and I assume they were some kind of storage style shelf, possibly for under a sink or bathroom. Nothing beats the cheap and easy PVC route.

Thanks BYB -- America is the Taj Mahal of trash. Here there are a lot of recyclers and places where you pay by the kilo. I had a new stainless steel ash tray for my 25 year old BBQ (repurposed for charcol last 10 years) for $31.00 -- made in 1 hour.

Seedlings and up potted the rooted clones. Lights off is soon so it should give the clones some time to acclimate. All is well.

When’s a good time to super crop? 9th day flowering. Might cut some of the bottom growth tonight, depends how I feel haha.. long day. Currently only feeding @400 ppm and they are slurpin. Next week I’ll be watering everyday. Yay..

And here’s a picture of the El Dorado fire in California. It absolutely blew up today. We watched it progress throughout the day as the wind picked up. I believe it is close to 60,000 acres.

Yeah or just tie the long branches down so the canopy is all even and in the sweet spot for peak flowering.

Mine under the air cooled hps is about 18” under the glass. So they will be on stands or bent down but all tops at 18” max. Staked, tied and pinched and bent or whatever.

Yeah I am really impressed with them from afar. They and Archive are the two American breeders I have the most interest in.

I super cropped mine in exactly that spot last week. Just massage the stem a bit where you're gonna bend it before you do to soften it up, then a gentle pinch until you feel it get floppy, then over she goes.. I do it in the morning at lights on. By the time the light goes off the tip is pointing straight up again.
