They are actually looking pretty good man, those rust spots look worse on some and less on the others. I can’t see in the photo but do you have a tray underneath the plants to catch the runoff? If not, you can plants onto something like a pot riser, and put a pot saucer underneath. Then the runoff will drain into the saucer. You can then suck out the runoff with a syringe, kinda like the “tactical” waterer I made with the tubing, or you could get a shop vac and vacuum runoff out too. Anyway, I would do that and not bring them into the bathroom to flush cuz that to me sounds like a recipe for disaster. Imagine tripping or getting a cola stuck on a lamp, no good lol. But you should be able to flush them i the tent bro, that’s key. As for the nutes, I too am not too sure about all this nutrient business, so PLEASE confirm with someone more experienced than I before you take my advice. So with that being said, I would just flush with that Florakleen you got ( one time isn’t going to hurt, a damn Taco Bell burrito is probably worse for you than the blue coloring lol), and then go 100% with the new nutrients. Like Aquaman said, nutes are nutes and I don’t think the plant will have too much problem with the new recipe. I would water them till they are actively dripping runoff then stop, repeat around 3 times a day. So basically reset medium with the flush, and put them on a new diet. Makes sense to me, but might not be the right thing. Just try a help ya bud. If I had to guess, your gonna get to harvest and have some frosty ass nugs.

Awesome growmie and thanks much. I have these that they drain into and yeah it would be ideal to not have to move them again. Danng gonna have to look for cheap shop vac with a tiny end nozzle. The florakleen should be here later today but so will do asap but lookin like manana. Sweet now I've gor a plan and feel getter. Thanks man

In order to actually flush a soil medium (don’t know about coco) you have to run four times the size of the pot through them. A five gallon pot would need twenty gallons of water pushed through it. I was on full scrog that time that I told you about the AN basically roaching my crop. I went to my local feed store and bought a deep plastic watering pan that I could manage to get under my bag while still on scrog and then I did exactly as he suggested, I ran it through sucking it up at the bottom with a shop vac. I then did a light foilar feeding avoiding the Bud sites. This actually saved my grow, it was in much worse shape than yours. It was a completely confusing occurrence as I had been using the AN for awhile. That’s when I made all of my changes, as I never wanted that to happen again. Using a PH perfect method as AN touted brought disaster for me. On my spring fed well it raised the PH horribly. My run off was at eight point four. Everything locked out.
What is it that you plan to do for your next grow to change all of this?

Yeah I am totally looking forward to getting away from the "PH NotPerfect" and never looking back. Just makes so much sense that the nute industry is just 1 big money making racket and it doesn't have to be so hard.

I'm not sure exactly how much you "should" use when flushing Coco or how it being 50/50 coco/perl may make any additional difference. In my head, what would make a lot of sense to do is to fill a 5 gal painters bucket with RO and put a air stone in the bottom(if I had one). Then somehow hang my 3gs in it and let it run for an hour-ish. I think that could "shake up" or dissolve the built up salts that have created a barrier to proper uptake.

As for what to do next time tbh I for sure do not have it all planned out yet but do have enough ideas from advice that every move would be an improvement. A fairly cheap solution for my drainage, albeit a nightmare to dry to do now, would be to drill holes in the bottom, add rubber washers and tubing and whalla I could drain. I'm super tentative on messing with the trellis with this many bud sites nestled in them but I would have to in order to tackle adding drainage. May just bite the bullet and buy a cheap shop vac if can find. So much to consider though and I need to do what I can to make the most of the time and money invested so far. What a trip it has been so far

@Zombierider I use these. I bought them separate but they fit perfectly. Maybe I can drill holes in bottom and add rubber stopper like in most old school bongs. Then run tube out the bottom into catchpan of some sort. I'm super baked so forgive me but did you follow the diy watering system from cocoforcannabis?

Pretty sure that’s the same pot stand I have, should work just fine for your drain idea. I was following the cocoforcannabis system, but I ended up just making my own version, which ended up working….kind of. Next grow I’m gonna get a 4x4 drip tray table for like $120, all you do is put a bucket underneath the drain nozzle and dump it every few days. Runoff solved. As for right now, you could make the drain pots, but I would probably just go with sucking out runoff with shop vac and next grow fix the drain issue. That’s what I’m doing, currently it’s a pain in the ass to suck out the runoff, but it works just enough not to get too pissed off lol. I just use a big ole syringe, like a 100ml or 150ml syringe, and attached 2ft of 1/2 inch clear vinyl tubing to it, and tied it all together with a bamboo pole to make it rigid. I just put the shop vac tube into the syringe without the push part, and it works like a vacuum. -it the end of the syringe/tubing into the pot saucer and just suck it all out. I probably confused you, if you need a clarification lemme know :D. You got this!!

@Zombierider and @PerfecTrader Hey you two! Been popping in and out for a few mins watching the two of you make your way this week, way to go! I have returned to work, what I do is seasonal. I manage six vacation rental properties through the summer rental season, generally April through the end of October. I also have seven acres of herbs flowers etc. that I deal with, spring is a busy time in my world. So I will be popping in and out just a lot less.
Im screaming into the beginning of week seven and man are the ladies fragrant. Nitrogen burn on at full force, leaves are becoming ugly and the bud is becoming swollen fat and sticky. Just the way I like it!
I will still be dropping pics for you as I finish the process. One, we all like to show our flowers. I’ll admit even at my age I still like those bragging rights and to show you both there is a much easier path with an amazingly significant outcome. We all chose our own,but I have found it’s the path of least resistance with the most significant outcome that I am always searching for. Time is short, flowers are fantastic. Granny likes her cannabis. May be why at my age I can still run circles around slower moving objects or people lol.
@Zombierider thanks for trusting me to teach you how to scrog! You have took it and ran with it and you will for certain reap the rewards. @PerfecTrader still working on you trying to convince you to pitch those trellis nets or use them to just hold up fat Bud, but ya getting there! First things first. You have learned a lot! I expect that next one to be amazing and certainly still have hopes for this one. The only reason we become wiser in this biz in time is because we have fecked up more than most others have even tried😊

Oh wow 6 rentals and a 7 acres whoa, hands full no doubt. You 1 cool lady I must say. I don't believe much in coincidence so I know our paths crossed for a reason. Very blessed they did and it has been a blast following and getting to know you. Definitely learned a lot from you and look forward to showing you in my next run. Will miss you being around more but surely hope you will pop on when can and be back more when time permits. We have harvests ahead and it shast be an existing time! Can't wait to see all the beautiful cultivars you've run.
Today was a pretty big day and we shall see if things pan out. I'm about to have issues OR it is possible I made some great improvements thanks to the group and the plants are about to thrive. Thanks to some motivation from @Zombierider I made some moves this morn. I ran to Lowes and bought a 3gal shop vac for $21. I also bought like 15 feet of clear 5/8" tubing. I jimmy rigged the end of the shop vac with the tubing. I took the florakleen and filled a 4L spray bottle with 5ml and gave each plant 1L. I did this 3 times and got recommended runoff if not more. Then I mixed the Masterblend 12g 6g 12g in 5gal and properly dissolved. I fed them all 1L at about 1pm and then again at 7pm, both till 10-20% run-off. The shop vac is the shit and my drainage issue is solved. Now I can feed the dickens out of em easily and till solid runoff every time. I am hopeful that they will be ok and kept telling myself it was all for the best. The Widow named Charlotte I must say is different than them all. The way it grows frost on large leaves, stems, and buds is just "frostier" than the others. In hindsight it for sure would have been the 1 of the 4 to clone. Took a couple pics from both sides of tent and of Charlotte. I know the leaves that are jacked on plants will never recover but I sure hope maybe I made a dent in making them worse going forward.

That's why she's called white widow 😊 white with crystals before it's over. Glad you solved your runoff problem, I imagine using the scrog makes it a real pain if you need to move anything!

Hell yea Cannagranny I appreciate the good vibes. Seven acres of herbs and rental properties, damn that’s gonna be a busy schedule! I commend you for work ethic, all while smoking the herb. And people say weed smokers are lazy, your a good example on how they are dead wrong! Looking forward to seeing the flowers you got growing. I should post some photos of my tomato plants, I started them at the same time as my cheese cookies and they are growing some fat tomatoes. Have a great Sunday!

Whether things get better or worse I'm so much happier now thanks to yall 🤗
Bro that canopy is looking primo. I’m liking the bamboo poles to support the net, bamboo ftw lol. I’m super glad you got that runoff issue solved and can now water the shit out of them. That’s kinda what I have been doing, I set my auto watering timer to water for 3pm seconds every hour and end of the day I have nice amount of runoff. In coco you pretty much can’t over water, just waste nutrients. I’ve probably wasted a bit of nutes watering a bit too much sometimes, but for my first run, better safe then sorry I say and keep that medium nice and balanced. When we get to roll our fat ass joints with our homegrown it will ALL be worth it. Keep up the good work brother!

Update Day 97, Week 5 Day 1 of Flower

Ehhh pics can be deceiving and your setup and grows makes me jelly I didn't go that route to start. Hard for me to look at the leaves on my chems and not think the buds are suffering as well though. The widows look so much better that it complicates things drastically as far as knowing what I did or didn't do and what I can do now to correct since they all are doing a so differently. These are pics from just now of Charlotte, Candy, Cookie and Coco. All fed the same and all doing so noticeably different. The pic of the whole plant is of Coco, poor thing. Let her down a bit

So I’m not seeing the horrendous deficiency your upset about bro, a little rust spots but overall the plant looks like it’s doing fine. As long as the buds are fattening up I wouldn’t worry too much about it. And one thing I have noticed about the Mamiko cookies strains is that they seem to be heavy feeders, so unless you were feeding the shit out of them that might be why you are encountering some deficiencies. My biggest of the 4 plants turned light green couple weeks ago and never really turned greener, and it’s probably going to affect bud quality but fuck it, I have more and it’s probably gonna be smokeable. I guess what I’m trying to say is to not get too down cuz we all fuck up in different ways. Just roll a fatty and give your garden some positive vibes.

Yeah you are right. This shit is getting so sticky and for a newbie that has never seen this before, wow. The stems of the largest widow leaves have a row of trichs standing on the top of them that is wild.
Hey what do you do with the little buds you pick off that keep growing back on the stems at the bottom where you lollipop? The widows especially Charlotte grow them back as fast as I can take them off. I put a few in a jar last week and I looked and shit looked like good shit lol I can't tell if it is mildewed or the good kind of frosty. At what point do you save the leaves you cut off that have frost on em? I know you should leave many on but I'm talkin the ones you should or have to remove and the teeny buds that keep comin back that are sticky as heck. If they sticky then maybe there is something to do with them? Prolly needs to be dried and cured like normal though to be of use?

So I haven’t taken anything off, fan leaves, lower nugs, etc ever since I lollipopped. I’ve just been tucking leaves and letting them do their thing. I do see that many people take some leaves off throughout flowering, so I don’t see it being a big deal either way. The lower shit that your talking about I’m just letting grow out, and ima use them for edibles as soon as I harvest. They are probably slowing bud growth a bit, but since it’s my first grow, I’m not overly concerned about it.
