Same might do 2x scrogged plants in the 4x8 and 1x scrogged plant in the 4x4 next run it seems that can be plenty

You will be shocked! I’m running one plant on the 4x4, and two and sometimes three on the 5x5. I actually could fill a 5x5 with one, but I get tired of the same stuff and like a variety.
When I started scroging about ten years ago, it was all about the most I could harvest from a small area. It still is. I plan on opening my original grow space back up a 2x7 in a closet, just so I can keep a variety.

Your ability to out yourself on what you have done or not done, will be the reason that you turn out to be an xlent grower.
I had wondered why your plants were so short, now I know. No LST required with a scrog, the table does it for you. How tall is your tent?

Kinda my plan, 3 different strains each time one plant in their own 4x4 scrog net, yes it’ll take longer but that’s ok, bigger yields so no problem, also I keep the 4x4 tent about a month ahead of the 4x8 I’d like to extend that to a 2 month separation to get a better perpetual harvest, at the same time I’d like to start breeding but need to learn how to do it defeat as to not pollinate plants that I don’t want seeded, and I want some awesome pollen to hit them with might need to hit up @Trustfall im looking at his genetics list all the time lol. I like variety as well, first run I grew 3 strains this run all the monstercrop clones are from diffferent plants I took the clones off of the mothers myself, the strains that where known there where Cinderella 99, white widow, and a stain called “Congo” my brother in laws buddy who just was killed about a month ago had been growing it for years and gave my brother in law cuts of all his plants before he was killed and I promised I’d grow them all out so ky brother in law could smoke his best friends bud one last time

Sadly I don’t know what plants where which when I got the clones so they could all be the same or I could have one of each, really no idea so I guess it’s just a smoke and see situation lol

The other 2 plants are Barney’s farm cookies Kush from seed in the 4x8 scrog net, then the candy kush I’ve grown 5 of before and this is the LST seed and she skipped the autoflower gene, that’s the candy kush in the 4x4 tent so right now I have up to 5 strains between 5 plants, also have 5 cookies Kush clones taken pre- flower then 5 cookies Kush monstercrop clones taken 2 days ago about a week and a half into flower when taken, I’ll grow out the biggest one in a 4x4 scrog net next run, I’m waiting on a runtz seed from a buddy, and I’ll pick up one more new strain at the local seed shop, just need to decide what strain to grow

The ones that don’t get chosen for inside my find themselves spread around between friends and maybe some random gorilla places for fun, kinda in the middle to throw a few autos outside over the summer and get my planting times back in order for perpetual harvests with the 2 tents

So i am not in this contest anymore, but im gonna share a little update of my scrog. Its what i call a "mega" scrog, also known as a "mega pain-in-the-ass scrog" or a " why-did-i-veg-these-plants-so-long" scrog. Anyway, gal in the back is the Banana krumble and she is budding already, definitely gonna be a fast finisher i can tell. Peyote wifi to the left looks like it could do with a bit more ppm's, and the Big Apple Cookies is just chugging along. Here is a photo of the Big Apple Cookies cola, its gonna be a big one I think! Stacking like a mofo.

Afternoon Sensei and hope you are well. My tents are both only 8 or 9 feet tall give or take pfft mine as well be since both 4x4s are 80" tall and my 3x3 vipar is 72

You are again 100% right and the LSTing real early is what funks my scrogs up before they even begin. Lesson learned meow for sure

That is awesome. I got into Oolong Tea around 10 years ago. This cool Russian guy I worked with was always drinking it and once he shared some it was a wrap. I was hooked and stopped coffee and only drank tea. I've had the Hairy Crab, Monkey Picked, Breast Flower Fragrance, Snow Pear, and Golden Jade but the Drunken Concubine I find to be the best. Another tea that is reallllly good but I don't know if still exists is the strawberry misaki balls from teavana. They are small round balls and you drop in hot water and it unfurls into a beautiful pink blossom and tastes incredible. Never was one for fruity teas but that one is a different story for sure

Now I gotta check this out I’m huge on teas loved it when David’s tea was around I have about 20 steeping mugs etc but David’s closed and cant find any good loose leaf tea anywhere

hate to say it yall but short story is I think I must bow out of the scrog contest. Have had a string of bad luck lately with a few things and bottom line I screwed my scrog up before it even had a chance.

Just like CG says, do NOT lst at all if plan to scrog. Basically defeats the purpose and things seemed good at first but I scrogged and had a stunting and needed to flush. Taking scrog off and on a couple times all while tucking constantly kept them real short and that was never my intent. I thought I would scrog and they would STRETCH but that is for healthy plants. I had an overwatering and ec issue for sure or that flush wouldn't have had an effect within days since I didn't water the 2-8-4 until 4-5 days after. Fkin happens every grow and I just wasn't realizing that LST and scrog don't mix well for me at least. By the time I listened to wisdom from @Shaded_One and top dressed with gaia 2-8-4 after the flush, they started flowering fast and I tried to put scrog on and realized way too much bud sites were under the scrog and would never make it above. Maybe down the road I can put it back on but right now it isn't working for me. Just havin a hard time all around with a bunch of shit and mentally I'm a bit beat.

Day 23 since flipped. Also found a new pest but seems to be restricted to soil. Is tiny compared to a fungus gnat which I've just had maybe 5-10 all grow. They must be in the soil no doubt though. Any ideas on the little things with antennae are welcome. Thought maybe fungus gnats movin from larvae to pupa stage but I don't see them as having antennae.

not so fast... widened the holes and put it back. I don't like the bud growth under the screen though at all. I took everything off I didn't want to run when I lollipoped. Frikkin heavy sativa strain a foot tall lol

Hey buddy keep your head up above water and keep going, you'll eventually get something that clicks and you'll take off flying! Ya never want to send a sick/unhealthy plant off to flower so it's probably best to just do what you can with this girl at this stage. Get a nice mental reset after this grow and start from scratch with the main goal of keeping things simple and healthy right up to flower time

thanks Wiz and although I put it back on do you think it is possible that the rubber spline for windows screens I made the net out of could be responsible for the "leaf tare" issue? This has eluded me and now may be adding up. This just doesn't match up with any leaf deficiency I can track down and I do not have any pests under any leafs visible with pretty solid scope
