I dried em for 18 days, the stems would NEVER snap so at 18 i bagged em. So hopefully it was the right time lol. Good to know you speak highly of em, the grovebag youtube channel is funny but the products appear legit so far.
I do not know what world I am living in. I legit think I put my tops in the bag after 3 days for the night and what do you know, might have dang near ruined it hah and nowwww I'm drying it again. Like I've said before, I could fk up a 1 horse race sometimes 😫

i got me a moisture meter from amazon and set it at wood and when buds got to 10-12 % i bagged them. worked out pretty good IMO
I have a moisture meter and tried it out on my first harvest. Ended up just wanting to simplify things and just go by feel/stem snap. Did you just test the moisture of the stem, or the bud as well? I think it would work for testing stems but testing moisture of buds would be difficult due to the inconsistent structure of bud not (probes being in air pockets in the bud)

You only dried them for 3 days before bagging em? I think if the humidity was removed quick enough, you could have been at stem snap in 3 days. But Im pretty sure you had that shite at 60/60 so if thats the case, 3 days is way too early I think haha. And I feel ya brother, but you could probably kick my ass in pool so dont be so hard on yourself brutha. Lets be honest, part of this whole thing is just cuz you love fucking around with the plants. If you didnt care so much youd just be ok with mid grade bud and not strive for greatness.

Do you not like using grove bags? 11 bucks for a large ziploc bag is a bit steep, but I am liking being able to put lots of bud in a small area vs tons of jars clanking around everywhere haha.
I don’t know if I like them or not, why I started this thread awhile ago. I was making reference to being guided on growing in a grove bag. Read back, it will make perfect sense 😊
I considered them, but for now imma just stay with my amber colored jars in a hidden cool dark location 🙂

this legit is genius but I went to an herb convention type thing and I had my white widow and chem cookies tested for thc. It also listed moisture content and long story short I think you are right on with the 12% but not the 10. I think we should shoot for the 12 since can't add the moisture back but can still dry it out more if needed
I start curing mine at 12% as well

Somebody asked above I go until I believe I’m in the center of the bud and test there

This was like $18 I think, I use it for my firewood for the wood stoves
