It's rare to have all the lines together but they are in Veg now. The cloner is idle ATM as the last batch had rooted and selected down to one per line.

Gorilla Glue-pheno 6 (GG6)
Trainwreck (TRW)
FullGas (FG)
Chemdog #4 x Okie Wedding Cake ( CC )
OG Kush (OGK)

Seems like I just made a batch of oil but I guess it's been about 3 months since I made some. At a rate of one brownie a night it takes a minute to go through a gallon. This process replaced a prescription sleeping pill. I get far better sleep with this method.

Only had one day off this past weekend so I at least got the flower decarbed and ground. Maybe I'll get to make the oil this weekend. Started off with 5 ounces of the oldest flower in the cabinet. Decarbing stinks, fucking stinks, so I put the little toaster oven in front of the drier which is under negative pressure from the flower chamber that gets scrubbed at the end. This helps a lot but still, decarbing stinks!! I used the wife's oven once. ONCE

Electric coffee grinder, no way these arthritis inflicted fingers could grind that amount of flower at once.

Thanks buddy! It was the last piece of the puzzle for this little system. Probably spent more time figuring thinking and smokin" than any other part. I'd say a good 1/2 lb went into the design and build 😄. Holds 2 lbs and you can close the door and not smell a thing. My flower cabinet has 5 inlets. 2for summer, 2 for winter and 1 that connects to the drier. Fully adjustable air flow from nothing to the full force of an 8" fan.

Making oil is a time consuming process, much easier to break it down into 2 days off instead of an all day event. I detest the smell and taste of coconuts so I use steam refined oil. You'd never know it came from a coconut. $40/gal so that's $50 in oil and 5 ounces of flower. This isn't a cheap product to make but it is worth every penny.

Every time you stir you get a big whiff of decarbed so I open up the drier and scrub the air while this is cooking.

Veg was about to get crowded so 3 lines came out and cloned. I'll let the mothers (chopped down) for a couple weeks until the clones root.
IMG 0667

OG Kush is the next gal going into flower (left). She's had all the training she'll get here and will be moving out in a couple weeks. Chemdog #4 x Okie Wedding Cake peno 2 (right). Planted 2 seeds flowered one and cloned the one. This one will be cloned again and fit into flower at some point, didn't keep a cutting from pheno 1 that's in flower.

Chemdog #4 x Okie Wedding Cake - 2 weeks in flower. She showed sex clearly at 9 days in.

FullGas - 4 weeks in flower. Showed the underside of both gals. This thing is a freak, if it flowers like it grows look out!

That is an impressive undercarriage. Beautiful work right there. It’s a ton of nit picking to get a scrog like that. I salute you. Very nice bro.

I get home from work when the rest of the civilized world is sound asleep. My lights are set to come on when I get home. For me, it's the highlight of my day! Standing there with a bowl in one hand training my girls with the other. I'll share with you my goal: 2 lbs from one plant, with this system. I made it to 1.88 in the scrog contest here at the Farm back in the fall. That's the closest I've gotten. Trainwreck that's in the drier, is gonna run a close second if not nudge closer to the 2 lb. mark. I'll get there one day.

I was lucky to have studied under some very knowledgeable professors when I was doing my undergraduate work. Earned My BS but never finished the work on my Masters, life kids job etc. got in the way. University of Kentucky, College of Agriculture, Class of 1990.

OG Kush - day 0

Most would say a 3 x 3 for one plant is a bit of a waste. Granted for some lines a 2 x 2 might be sufficient. But being able to take these trays apart with a vacuum I get to see just how wide spread the root system generally is, and it can be huge, covering the bottom of the tray. For me happy roots = happy fruits. 35 gallons of clean used hydroton it is!

Growing this plant out for a buddy. California born and raised and when I mentioned I had these freebies he lit up like a Christmas tree. I knew then I was gonna flower out some OG! Anyways, training begins on day 0.
