To all the bean hoarders out there, when the date on your pack hits a certain timeframe, which you can set for yourself. You should pop them and atleast pick your fav female and male and make the next filial generation. It'll keep your seeds fresh and give you a greater look at the two parents, especially in the F2 generation.

Personally I've never seen durban turn purple, durban is more like trainwreck and jack herer and south african sativas, being fast for sativa. Those strains usually don't purple much or at all, unless bred with some purple genetics, ime.

I have no clue about what this cookie is, but again the hype machine is hard at work on it.

no joke on the hype part, as alot of noise has been made but the fact remains that it "IS" still 1 of the most potent around period. i have yet to find 1 person that has beat me at the pepsi challenge, 4 some reason people get mad at cookies like it's not all it's cracked up to be i'll smoke 1 n tell "WHOEVER" it is match me 1 if u got equal or better meds n i'll buy em from u i don't care what strain. i have yet to find 1 person that has been able to shut me the fuck up, can't seem to find 1 person that has anything that's as balanced as the cookies from The Hemp Center taste, smoothness, ash n effect no matter what they have kushes or whatever.

i think 1 reason alots of people hate on The Cookies is cuz, most have not had the real Cookies so they get disappointed when they try the "Fakies" esp. with all the buzz going around. only 2 places i know where to get The Cookies 1 The Hemp Center in SF 2 Thera Leaf collective in san Jose, if u get em somewhere else like harborside or whatever club claims to have it ur looking to disappoint urself......ima go smoke on some real Cookies now from da SF spot so ya know it da real!!

The Cookies from THC i get don't look "that kill" witch is 1 reason many talk shit when they c it, all i here "this is Cookies? i don't c what the big deal is, don't look that good". after we put 1 in the air u can jus c it in there face there blown, n when they c me again i here "where The Cookies at?" i ask em find me better meds they argue n in the end admit it's a tuff 1 to beat n i have yet to find 1 friend or grower the says "here shut the fuck up n smoke this".

where did u get u Cookies from? the 1's i get don't have much purp on em if any also they don't look like the 1's in the video's, they look good but not like some other strains but r always fire don't let the look fool u.

it's not a good strain to smoke all day or u'll find urself not watering ur plants at night n asleep on da couch, to c what i mean u need go to The Hemp Center in SF. JMO

Well grown NL#5 TRUMPS cookies on the potency.
Maybe the person growing these cookies at the Hemp Center is just doing a really good job and whatever plant they grew would prob be super! The genetics help but that's just a baseline, the best growers get the plants to express their true colors :p

i've seen Cookies from a few diff places n the real bizz is that i've only got The cookies that i've "always got from THC" at THC the others r kinda like it but not the same PERIOD. TLC has it some times as well, i know 4 sure there is something better out there. i used to tell it to my friend n he would say put up or shut, i haven't been able find it or some 1 that has it.

i know that most of the best meds never make it to da clubs, that aside if 1 hasn't gone to THC n got u a good lil 1/2 or something it's hard to c what i mean.

My GSC cut turned purple even though my room is 70 degrees 24/7. She doesn't have a traditional OG structure, but does have an OG smell. No "purple", or GDP smell at all, no "thin mint" smell either. She does have a unique smell though, kushy and straight REEKS. Under the microscope the trics are average size, but packed very close together. I am thankful that this strain isn't leafy or it would be hell to trim. Things may change as she dries/cures:

Somewhat similar, but def not Bubba. I run a nice cut of Bubba also, and it has a very uniform structure, golf ball sized nuggs from top to bottom, and that classic Bubba smell. The GSC has a smell all her own, def on the OG side, and a unique bud structure with tiny top and fat bottom:

From the pics it does look like they could be related. Similar colors and structure but the GSC nuggs are rock hard and smaller with fatter calyxs.

Yea the only reason I brought it up is because you said it lacked the GSC characteristics.

There seem to be a lot of fake GSC cut/clones being passed around. It's most likely a bubba cut being passed off as GSC.

Birdog: That cutting looks very similar to bubba in structure but looking at the pix of the bubba you posted you can tell it's slightly different.

All I'll say is that the GSC is def getting easier to come by.I've said it a bunch of times but The hype is real for a reason. If it doesn't absolutely reek or it's not some of the dankest herb you've seen then it's peon not the real deal. The real deal is def worth the trouble....

i disagree. Cookies greatest attribute is its effects. Flavor wise its good, but not great. Many that are far better. Stone wise its pretty damn fucking good. There are stonier sure, but the type of high GSC gives is very unique and extremely enjoyable. at least for me.
to say the only thing special about gsc is flavor is just being a hater, and makes it seem like you havent even smoked real cookies.

But saying you have cookies tucked away in seed form makes him come off as such. s1s of a clone only dont mean you have it tucked away in seed form. Unless he has done some serious selections and Bx's after originally outcrossing to something. Or possibly he has recreated it with the florida og x f1durban, or possibly cherry pie x ogk if your going by older claims.
