That’s pretty much what I got except in coco. I just love it after the gals don’t need to be hand fed anymore. Makes for more time in training pruning and spotting out problems.
Exactly. Really eases up the gardens time management. And of course the benefit of faster growth rates too.

You do the whole crop like that? Or just a bit to smoke?
I'm still sitting on a lot of weed and hash that I'm sure will get me through until this crop is ready. I don't know man.. quick dry has never been my style.
I thought the Levo was an infusion machine?
LEVO 2 does Drying, Decarbing, and Infusing. I'm getting to really like this machine.

Yep. We disagreed on a lot, but that's what I loved about him. If nobody is challenging you, you don't think as hard about why you do what you do. I believe we agreed on more than we disagreed on though. He was just unapologetically honest. I have nothing but respect for the dude.
I’m still growin in pro mix usin pbpg thru flower easy Peasy - been playin with other additives and now the wool but realistically 90% of my grow comes from you 3 guys ! So thankful for the banter and tech talk ! Learned more here than any book I’ve read ! And I see that red Canuck flag flyin . Lol
Thanx

Im gonna put the Dr Dirt Bubag hat on again for a minute.
I was looking for resources of info about the dry koolbloom today and found this video put out by General Hydroponics about it. The stuff that he says in the video line up pretty well with the things I've heard Dr Bruce Bugbee talk about.

Cannabinoids and terpenes are secondary metabolites. They aren't needed for a plant to grow perfectly big and healthy, but obviously their production in abundance is one of our primary goals. It's also known that growers can encourage and stimulate the production of secondary metabolites by shocking or stressing the plants in specific ways at specific times.

Interestingly GH claims that koolbloom stimulates the production of essential oils and aroma compounds, and in the video they even specifically say it does it through shock to the plants. I'm guessing by phosphate shock.
Interestingly in the video they also recommend using a clearing solution after using it instead of just plain water, which lines up with my musings over a hash joint in my video from last night.

Interesting shit. It's starting to look to me, like these nutrient companies might have had things right all along. Certainly not all of the magic bottles they try to sell are necessary, but im starting to better understand some of the science behind flower nutrition and its taking me back to the nutrient recommendations from the 80's and 90's full circle. Very cool. Anyway here is the Koolbloom promo video. Check it out.. kinda interesting.

Feel like a bit of a nutrient slut. Just in the shed reading how many different brands I've got going on, dyna grow base nutes, nutrien brand calcium carbonate, Loveland calcium silicate, cannamaxx potassium silicate, GH ripening salts, Advanced Nutrients clearing agent lol.. giving them all a bit of my money on this run hahaha.

Just checked in on them.. no burn from the koolbloom so thats reassuring. Absolutely stinks to high heaven in here

Thanks Shayne. A lot of it is good genetics but also figuring out the strains requirements over the past few runs helps too. Growing is learning. Keep at it and you'll get there. Do you have a grow diary going?
i havent got a grow diary going but just made a few posts of my wilma setup for a first run in hydro. seems to be going ok so far

High P bat & seabird shit. I used to use it when it was cheap. Makes tight fast buds.
Nice, I used to use the same stuff under a different brand name. Bat shit was all the rage in the 90's lol. To this day I can taste weed that's grown with it. It creates a distinctive terp profile of its own I find. I enjoy it a lot. Some folks don't.
