They're just not very consistent . Teas are super easy, i just use a handful of ewc, add some bennies, some compost if you want and bubble for 24-36 hours. I just harvested my last run and i have a monocrop of gg#4 coming up next. As far as yeild, thats always a guessing game unless youve ran the same clone in the same setup a few times.

Inconsistent is ok with me for now, I just want to actually have a harvest of something under my belt. Speaking of under my belt winter and the munchies ain't helping my waist line LOL. These Limited Edition Cherry Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts are hard to get away from :)

I figure I can get away with just water until at least week 4 then I do have the whole FoxFarm nute line I used last time and ewc, bat guano and some dolimite lime too.

positive thoughts to all our moms.

bowl up, or ill go roll a J i mean.
Appreciate the positive thoughts. Has it cooled down out there enough to be outside during the day yet? How are your legs doing?

No doubt brotha, you're gonna do great im sure. I know fox farm started showing hunger issues right around 4 weeks and that worked out to when i up potted. For you starting in your final pot ypu will have the benefit of the roots growing into new soil as it goes. I bet in the future if you put a "hotter" soil in the lower half and your reg soil in the top half you would barely need to feed at all. Still might not have to. Use those eartworm castings you have, add some beneficial bacteria and bubble overnight. Feed that once a week and watch those babies grow!

The FoxFarms Ocean forest is hotter than the Happy frog. Foxfarm Microbrew is what I have on hand but cant find anything about using it with a tea yet. I wish I would have tried starting the seed in the large pot instead of needing the jiffy pod I think the jiffy pod may be slowing things down.

yeah, its cooled down. its down right cold in the mornings.. once sun comes out tho its paradise heat wise anyhow..
Good deal I exited here when the sidewalk were melting out there.

Ok troubleshooting here a little and yes probably over thinking things. The soil in the big pots was dry except just a little spray in the whole where I dropped the jiffy pod in. This could be where I made a mistake but my thinking was I didn't want it wet so I could let is absorb water from the center as I watered in an effort to not over water a small plant in a big pot. Then did a little water around it after covering it up. I have watered since then keeping what little water close to the seedling.

I have had a 600w bulb turned down to 300w 30" above them for 3-4 days. When can I lower it or turn it up to 450w? The smallest plant is a Girl scout cookie that seems stunted compared to the other GSC. I'm tempted to pop my last GSC seed to go along with it as GSC is the one with the highest THC and yield claimed by breeder.

Looks good to me bro. Every seed is diff so you cant really compare. It looks happy so your watering technique must be right on. I would do it the same way. I can only speak for me but i give em 2-400w for the first 2 weeks then raise the light all the way up and go to 600w. Then I'll lower the light down over the next few days.

Ok between everything today I have been reading @str8smokn 's Vertigo thread trying to drink in anything that might help and enjoying the porn.

I decided to go ahead and drop the 3rd GSC auto in the shot glass. I think I might try something a bit different. I will use a 5gl smart pot with it and as soon as the seed germinates drop it in 1/2 of a peat pod and stick it in the pot. My thinking is its roots will get through to the seedling soil quicker. Then through it to the Happy frog. @incogneato you mentioned maybe doing the lower half of the pot with hotter soil. How could I make the bottom half better with things I have on hand?

I also added the humidifier to bump RH to 50%. Conditions have been RH 42% / 75-77°, but I hope to make that closer to 50% / 73-75°.

Sounds like you have some good amendments on hand but i dont like to give advice on things i dont know. Trying to remember the organic soil guys on here. @oldskol4evr @Srenots you guys know how to amend soil? I know str8 would know better too.

Ok I'm going to call 12/13 at day 1 making today day 8. Last night everything was praying including the runt. I mixed 1/6th of the the grow nutes they recommend in a gallon of distilled water and PHed at 6.4-6.5 & 98 ppm. I don't have a bubble stone yet but ran a tube through the lid and hook the aquarium air pump to it.

Soil appeared it could have used watering last night but I waited until 9:00 am (Little voice in my head says little plant big pot, most common prob is over watering) Each plant got about 5 oz water in a 2" radius around it.

I got a little water on a couple leafs last time I watered and even though I dabbed it off the area looks dry. Anything I could do to moisten it back up?
Hope your doing well today May your plants be green and your roots white

The little leafs i got water on, I dabbed the water off but its must have had some still there because it must have been magnified making them tips look dry and 1 curled a little. That plant is not keeping up with the others. I was thinking something like Aloe or vitamin E on bottom thinking the moisture might soak in? I don't have either of those anyway lol

I'm pretty sure it where I took my finger to get the water off the leafs that made them shrivel some. Pretty sure its not nute burn. The plants I am sure will be fine but the 1/3 of the leaf parts are not growing as they should and probably not taking in light the way it should to feed the plant.

With the short life of autos any set back can be costly from what I read. So right now I can check them as many times a day as I want easily so trying to make sure I do anything I can. If the plant had more leafs I would not have even looked at this but with only 4 real leafs every bit counts lol
The worst is the first one and its slowest growing I am sure because of it.

@incogneato pic 1 is the smallest and the picture doesn't show it well even zoomed in but look at top leaf and you can see the curl. In pic #4 the 2 leafs (pointing up and down) Were the first real leafs and the second 1/2 of each shrank up after the water got on them. I know its not a big deal and they will survive but thought I remembered someone on here saying something about aloe or vitamin E once. It might have been Rmoltis he was always trying new stuff. Hope he is doing well. He might be in China by now

No brother you're all good. The first few leaf sets have a tendency to come in funny, especially in autos. When yhe next set comes in they will probably be good. Keep in mind all of that just came out of a beaner. Just like a newborn baby when they first come out, head all misshapen, goo all over and whatnot lol. They look really good bro, keep up the good work. I actually sent word to R awhile back through Catus man and he sent me a pm. Hes back home in Wa and doing great. Good job, getting his life back in order and happy. He wont be growing for awile but hes doing real well.
