Cant help you with that one ... been there ... done that ... did not like it ... rather go with clone or seed. May just be easier to start with a new clone or seed. But it does work ... so why not give it a go? Plus sometime you might fuck up and put your mother into flower and not realize it until it is to late (know people who have done this - shit happens). Not sure if I know what you mean re monster cropping. But monster cropping may or may not work better than re vegging. Try both.

Re harvesting. Spread out the harvest. Variety is the spice of life. However, if it is for a specific medical condition ... thats different ... you want to harvest with that in mind.

I'm basically wanting to know, would it be beneficial to my harvest to crop the top part of the plant first and then all the lower bud sites a few days later, just to give them that extra few days to catch up, is this wat you mean by spreading out the harvest? Or would chopping her this way stress her out? Recommended Or not??
Also Im growing this for myself and my wife, I use recreational as I don't drink, prefer a joint over a pint any day, my wife however uses for medicinal purposes, she suffers from ehlers danlos syndrome, gastroparesis and fibromyalgia bless her she's a strong woman il tell you that much ;), anyway after hearing wat you said about harvesting for medical purposes and to keep that in mind, is there a particular sweet spot for this or ?
It's not as simple as I first thought now we've added all these extra factors that up until today id never even considered; ) glad we've touched on the topic tho cos I'm learning so much ;) if only school was this fun back in the day!!

Hey eskiiboy uk, It a pleasure hanging around, and want to say again. Your growing skills a stellar, and nutes are working great. I like to say if it aint broke, don't try to fix it! As far as Barneys farm there are a lot of variables in there seeds being a big constant breeder compared to single run breeders. I my opinion they have some of the best fem seeds on the market. I have grown there Red Dragon, Blue Cheese, Acapulco Gold, Tangerine Dream, and Critical Cure. Only disliking the Tangerine Dream. Sounds like you need to get some more seeds and go from there. I suggest going with a different breeder next to compare. This gives you time to move forward and develop your grow areas for your needs. Hope your wife is feeling better!

Spreading out was in reference to harvesting at different times during trichom development. some at 20 ... some at 50 .... or whatever you think is best. Should get a somewhat different final product doing this. Could be on a single plant or perhaps 1 whole plant at 1 stage and the next at another. Hope that helps.

Hope your wife is feeling as well as possible in light of her circumstances. Unfortunately the research on the medical use of MJ is in the stone ages. I take that back. They probably had many uses for it back then. You get my drift though. So anything I say is not from a scientific source or whatever. The best thing for you to do is to learn as much as possible about her conditions. That will help you choose appropriate strains and much more. Stay up to date on the medical research. Perhaps the best you can do now on a personal level is think about what will make her more comfortable and choose appropriate strains. For fibromyalgia I would want available 3 or more strengths: mild, medium, strong and put me to sleep now. Also consider tastes / flavors ... you especially want 1 that has a flavor / taste that she could tolerate when "nothing sounds good". She might add to this. The big thing is to involve her in the decision making, listen to her and her wishes and I think you will be able to make this condition much more tolerable for her. Looking for a cure is beyond me. Put her wishes first. I'm sure the same would be just as good for your recreational fun. Unless of course it is one of the new medical strains with very low thc!

Looked in my favorites but I'm sure I did not save it because of the fee and perhaps you had to have credentials. This was some time ago and I'm sorry that I cannot offer any help on finding it. Other than it was an "advanced search". In other words with +'s, and ...

I really love the Critical Cure. I have finished her twice now. In her first run I was experiencing low PH issues. That stress caused her to throw a few nanners and took her a little early. This last finish was going well. But preparing to move I had to take her early again right at 60 days. She is wanting 70 days for a good finish. Here is a bud shot. This girl wants to turn some colors!

I think Red Dragon would be a nice choice. It was one of my wife's favorites to date.

Wow ;) alot of fantastic ideas and info there for me to think about and look in too, you've inspired me even more now on my endeavour to make life better for my wife, she's only 24 so these are meant to be the good years ;/ like I say tho things are 100% better than they were 2 years ago;) my wifes a fighter!!

I think Red Dragon would be a nice choice. It was one of my wife's favorites to date.

She looks awesome man;) Is it the barneys cbd cure? Possible winner for my wife for day time meds;) just read the info on it and it sounds good and she seems happy with it!!
As I'm only flowering 3 plants at a time due to space restrictions, I figured on my next run id go with 3 different strains as opposed to just one;) After thinking about it i came to the conclusion id like to run a 'blueberry' strain as I can't get enough of the stuff wen done properly!! I'd do a high cbd strain like your 'critical cure' and then finally id run an ultimate knock out bed time med like '707 headband' or something similar, better to have a selection I guess just in case me or the missus get bored, doubt that could happen tho ;)

Gave the girls a bit of trim again tonight, took off the last of the pop corn and larf that I missed last time aswel, not one deficiency at all anywhere on the plants;) perfect healthy green and frosty as hell, the smell is so sweet it reminds me of the kandy kush I had in dam if any of you have ever had the pleasure of smoking it!!'there's a strain id love to give a go actually ;) kandy kush, hmmmm got me thinking now haha , like a kid in a candy shop, can never decide wat to grow next, lol my google bookmarks and favorites list is full of wonderful strains, gonna have to get a little collection going i think ;) god I love this hobby! !!

Any way back to business, my colas are spreading down the stems and joining up nicely, thc is exploded and well here's some pics so see for yourselves, hats off to barneys farm for this one !!! And of course you guys for guiding my way; ) hopefully get that gangsta lean going off if they keep packing it on like they are !!!!

Hey man, my wife says the best way she can describe the condition is to imagine you have tooth ache all over your body, not a nice thought!! here in the UK all doctors can do is prescribe things like pethidine, morphine, oxycodone tramadol etc to try manage the pain, all nasty stuff that in turn create more problems than good, we personally think it's the cocktail of opiates that caused her stomach to stop working in the first place!! Any way, you can give her as many pain meds as you like and it still doesn't touch the sides, give her a spliff on the other hand and within 10 mins her pain becomes tolerable, her sickness caused by her gastroparesis has settled and before I can put the roach in the ash tray she's smiling again ;)!!! I swear if it wasn't for cannabis her conditions would be alot worse as she'd be takin more and meds that do more damage than good!!! Out of everything we've tried cannabis has always been a clear winner, with no side effects either! its just a shame it's still a class b drug over here, I'm in court soon for a cannabis charge, got caught with 20 oz in my car, 10 was for me and 10 was for my mate, all personal use so hopefully should go well in court, iv got no previous other than two caution's for cannabis 10 year ago wen I was 19 lol, criminalising otherwise honest people, im a full time carer for my wife so I'm hardly a criminal mastermind, it's messed up man!!!
But yea man, does your wife medicate with cannabis? If not then it might be worth a shot;)

ah Scotland; ) so you'll know first hand the struggles we have over here, took us 10 months to finally get an appointment with the rheumatologist and then a further 12 months to get the diagnosis, 2 specialists had the cheek to say its all in her head!! due to the difficulty in diagnosis most doctors are ignorant to it, never an easy task, iv had security called on me many times due to having to kick off, sad thing about it is tho if I hadn't of kicked off we would never of got anywhere!!
2/3 years have passed now tho and things are 100% better than they were; ) and to put the icing on the cake she's 12 weeks pregnant;), so obviously she's stopped smoking(apart from the odd toke or 2 on a spliff wen her fibro flares up) and stopped all the meds that can harm baby and to everyones amazement including the doctors is that she can eat again, she's been tube fed for over a year now cos her stomach couldnt even handle a mouthful of water without making her sick, and she's not just eating bits she's eating three full meals a day, it's fucking amazing!!! Either the baby is a blessing, or the fact shes cut out all the opiates her stomachs kick started again I don't know, she's lovin it tho bless her;) !!!

That haze looks lovely and sounds like it's gonna be a good strain for your missus;) defo keep me posted man. Haze has always been one of my wife's favorites but the best so far is Cheese, luckily that's all we get over here lol so can't complain, can't wait for her try my critical kush tho I'm hoping it will do the trick; )

"yeah man my wife just went through a year of chemo and radiation from breast cancer and she is finally back to about 95% normal energy again.i dont ever want to see anyone go through that shit again,good luck on this man,i will add you to my daily prayers.i was never much of a "talk to god" type person until this happened bro but i make a point to thank him every day for letting me keep my best friend and partner with me .im not sure you need this advice but diet is huge with fighting cancers and a palio diet has helped my wife alot.that and eating raw cannabis is very good for us.i was making her drink a canna shake every day for over 8 months.you wont feel high from eating it raw and you can use parts other than top colas.from what i read(which was a shitload) you should collect leaf and imature buds from all stages of growth so veg and bloom and mix it.i just dropped it in a blender with some strawberries and banana and a lil ice cream and milk and made a weed smoothie for her.at first she did not like the taste but after a few days it was fine.all sorts of vitamins and fiber and uncooked cbd in raw cannabis." Man I really hope that strain does the trick for your missus, it sounds like it ticks all the boxes, heard good things about hazeman;) although after watching the video posted by Orcaman and the whole raw cbd smoothies, it makes me wonder if that could be the way forward for your missus, im defo gonna give it a try;) best thing is, if my wife doesn't like the taste, she can put it straight down her feeding tube instead lol!! As for space cakes etc we had some in dam the other month and I must say she was very relaxed, but we did go thru 20 different gram bags in 2 days so obviously that played a part lol;) thinking of making up a batch of canna butter, get it mixed into a spaghetti bolognese or summat;) so many good uses but still widely illegal, it's a fucking joke!!

Yes people in the UK are actually dieing from hardcore prescription pills coz they dont have access to good weed.
