Try a razor blade ...scrape the side of the stem underwater... then cut a 45 through that scarring underwater... put it in your juice..then in the collar and go

I wonder if using scissors is my problem. The reason I ruled this out is I found a thread where a guy mutilated clones stems to see if they would root or not. The clones with jacked up cuts rooted just like the precise razor cuts. But I will get a razor. Anything at this point!

I've put so much calcium chlorite in my cloner to clean it then I literally melted the filter in my pump. Still wouldn't work. In the past. I figured this would have killed anything. I'm 100% positive if I would've drank a glass I would've died.

Well sissor smash cells a lot more than a blade... and if you dont scrape the stem to open cells...and the bottom is all damaged, how do you think rooting solutions will fair?

Maybe that really is the honest answer to my problem. I'm sure someone will say using scissors vs a razor makes no difference. Alot don' scrape them and still get great roots. So u think smashing of the stemfrom scissors combined with not scraping is my problem. If so how the hell did I clone for the last 7 yrs in rockwool with taking cuts with scissors and no scraping. Not busting balls by any means I'm just searching for solid answers. Do clones in rockwool require different techniques than aero/bubble clones

No slime, stems looks perfect, rez smells exceptionally clean but NO FUCKING ROOTS!! DAY 7. Looks like another failed run. Good thing im using clones I don't plan on keeping. Using practice clones from a strain I'm culling. If there was ever such a thing as a clone Dr. I need one bad cause this is getting ridiculous.

It's because you didn't have it on a timer, you were constantly giving it what it needed instead of it making it beg for what it wants. What you need is time, five to seven more days. If the top parts of your clones are nice and green still, they're still good, patcience is key my dude

You have a TON of good thoughts and a TON of good habits, but dude keep it simple, clonex, gel, temps and timer. Don't matter if you use siccors or blades, watch the difference with you timer, I'm telling you that's how you make roots work, this hydro shit I do, I let them gap from the water at select times of the blooming period just watch them explode. It works the same with these clones. Just wait

Please explain how tons of people root clones on 24/7. I believe demontrich, who is well known, claims to have been using the same cloner for over 4 yrs running them all 24/7 with excellent results. I'm almost positive ur not going to suggest something I haven't tried. When someone does suggest something intelligent and supportive that I haven't tried then that's probably gonna be the answer. I changed the timer last night. I'm pessimistic right now but I'll give it a try just like I have in the past. In the past my problem was the res temp. Now I'm around 68 degress. I GREATLY appreciate all the suggestions but I have tried them all. My rez can' be any cleaner. I thought the only ticket to aerocloning is cleanliness. Obviously not.

Someone on here should post a video of precloning cleaning then the clones being taken and installed. Basically step by fucking step, the whole process. I'm sure I could follow them to a T and I wouldnt get roots while they do.

Alright this just dawned on me. My tap water always smells like chlorine. Pretty strong. I'm thinking my water has excessive chlorine from the start then I add more bleach as a sterilizer. I'm thinking the problem is because the bleach and chlorine that's in the water. Too much chlorine in the water could be inhibiting roots. When I get home I'm going to put ph'd tap water only in the res. See if there' a difference in a few days. No cloning additives or bleach

Do you see how it is used? ....you skin the side about 1/2inch up...then cut your 45..ALL UNDER WATER..then dip and go.

This was not done under water because its an example for you... and i just threw it away

So plain ole tap water should be fine until roots start developing. Im trying to keep it as simple as possible. See I do listen to what you guys suggest.
