Personally I've never seen durban turn purple, durban is more like trainwreck and jack herer and south african sativas, being fast for sativa. Those strains usually don't purple much or at all, unless bred with some purple genetics, ime.
I have no clue about what this cookie is, but again the hype machine is hard at work on it.

i think 1 reason alots of people hate on The Cookies is cuz, most have not had the real Cookies so they get disappointed when they try the "Fakies" esp. with all the buzz going around. only 2 places i know where to get The Cookies 1 The Hemp Center in SF 2 Thera Leaf collective in san Jose, if u get em somewhere else like harborside or whatever club claims to have it ur looking to disappoint urself......ima go smoke on some real Cookies now from da SF spot so ya know it da real!!

It looks kill, smells great, tastes ok, not the most potent. Does hit deep into the third lung as it expands from the potency but there are a many other potent ones that I feel are just as potent.

My GSC cut turned purple even though my room is 70 degrees 24/7. She doesn't have a traditional OG structure, but does have an OG smell. No "purple", or GDP smell at all, no "thin mint" smell either. She does have a unique smell though, kushy and straight REEKS. Under the microscope the trics are average size, but packed very close together. I am thankful that this strain isn't leafy or it would be hell to trim. Things may change as she dries/cures:

That looks almost exactly like a Bubba cut.
Somewhat similar, but def not Bubba. I run a nice cut of Bubba also, and it has a very uniform structure, golf ball sized nuggs from top to bottom, and that classic Bubba smell. The GSC has a smell all her own, def on the OG side, and a unique bud structure with tiny top and fat bottom:

From the pics it does look like they could be related. Similar colors and structure but the GSC nuggs are rock hard and smaller with fatter calyxs.

i disagree. Cookies greatest attribute is its effects. Flavor wise its good, but not great. Many that are far better. Stone wise its pretty damn fucking good. There are stonier sure, but the type of high GSC gives is very unique and extremely enjoyable. at least for me.He ll most of my outdoor was just as frosty as that this year! Only thing special about g s c is the flavor.
