Quality and quantity. You, sir, may be on to something!

Thanks for showing off your op. You supply me with anxiety waiting to hear your gram per watt numbers.

Keep the machine ticking.

very nice bro,

You plan to trim all that weight by hand... crazy. Is there really a huge difference trimming your buds wet as opposed to trimming them dry?

Absolutely AMAZING BD! Im so impressed! Ive been on these forums for years now, and I must confess this is the best indoor thread Ive ever seen! Love your ingenuity, its absolutely genius! The flowers look gorgeous bro. around week 5 I was saying to myself, this is OG? Its not lookin like og.. My apologies friend. The finished product is 10.5/10. Im sure after a nice cure, it will be an easy 11/10. I look forward to a smoke report, and final weight. The best part of the thread is that you have some more ladies ready to take the place of the freshly harvested ones :) What will u do differently on the next run? If you had them on hand, would u replace those res buckets with larger ones?

Do your thing bro. Your the MAN!!

I ran both the O.G. Skywalker and the O.G. Kush. The stalk you see is an O.G. Skywalker.:joint:

Yes, it all gets trimmed by hand.... There are mixed opinions in regards to a wet trim opposed to a dry trim. I obviously prefer the second of the two options. I think both are debated in the Basic Growing Information Forum under Cannabis Harvesting and Curing. bd

HaHaHa! Thanks man!
Yeah, I'm sure most people that are familiar with the typical structure of O.G. Kush were a little thrown off by the way I get my plants to look.

I must say, the quality is turning out better than I first had thought. Still not my best but, I have a feeling this harvest will be in my top 10, possibly even my top 5 in terms of quality. The buds are super shiny with a very pungent smell even before the cure. The true tell all will be after the cure. I will have a final weigh in and smoke report by then.

As for doing anything different, I always feel there is room for improvement and I will go into the details in my next thread...

P.S. I'm not "the MAN"... I'm just a guy that is passionate about what he does... Thanks for the compliment though. bd;)

Well done Ben, well done.

You're not gonna use spring-loaded scissors to cut all that, are you? Is that even physically possible?

how much did you spending on nutes this run? have you ever considered mixing your own nutes?

fwiw, i've run some numbers on h&g nutes. it's difficult to analyse them because they don't have a guaranteed analysis, and their ingredients are specious. from what i can see, the aqua flakes regimen isn't significantly different than AN connoisseur (5-4-10) or botanicare power flower (2-2-5), and shooting powder is basically 49g of MKP (0-52-34). in fact, shooting powder brings the NPK to roughly that of ripe or overdrive.

Great show Ben! I am amazed by the root mass you had in those 13 gallon buckets. I bet once Jack finishes his run and has a similar mess of roots CC will start making something bigger.

So what did you max out on ppm wise? I know OG and Skywalker are touchy and it's not wise to go to hot on them. You have definitely made me a believer in the full H&G lineup. As soon as I burn up my AN stuff I'm making the switch.

The total amount it cost me to run House & Garden for one run on 30 lights including both Veg. and Bloom is just under $5,000 not including the discount I get at the Family Hydroponics Store I shop at. When I used to use Advanced Nutrients it would cost me $7,000 a run not including my discount. I get better results from House & Garden and House & Garden is cheaper and easier to use then Advanced Nutrients. A no brain-er if you ask me. I have used Connoisseur before and it connoissucks (Kinda Sucks) In my opinion. It's way to over priced and doesn't live up to its claims. That shouldn't be a surprise though, considering that all of Advanced Nutrients products follow in suite.:no

As for mixing my own nutrients, this is something I have not tried... I think you will be hard pressed trying to duplicate House & Garden. I know for a fact, that there are companies out there, Advanced Nutrients being one of them, trying to reverse engineer or duplicate House & Garden specifically Roots Excelurator. These are companies with deep pockets and extensive research teams and yet they still have had no success... Hey, who knows? You might get lucky... But if you ask me, its a shot in the dark.bd:hunter::hunter:

Yeah, the root mass filled up those buckets pretty good. I'm sure Jack will easily do the same. I keep hearing rumors of Current Culture developing a larger bucket for the Under Current. I'm willing to bet that UCMENOW might have some insider information on this. Lets see if he chimes in...

In regards to my highest PPM levels in the Under Current this run, They reached upward of 1900 PPM. I would not recomend taking your plants this high unless you are extremely in tune with your plants and RCDWC.
