Years ago I did a year long journey to disprove and came away a believer.
Sometimes us asking for proof is a slippery slope. When finally you lose everything you have to realize they were there all along.

I know this is a little late to throw all the way down here on page 25, BUT I've heard that 44 micron is best for concentrates because anything that is lower will be ONLY BROKEN TRICHOMES, while the 44 micron would be FULL TRICHOME HEADS, ALSO CONSISTING OF THE BROKEN ONES, BUT WITHOUT ANY PLANT MATTER!!! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE PURE, AND IN TACT!!! Supposedly, broken trichomes lack POTENCY, AND TERPENES, which will give the wax a better face melt, and flavor. Terps are essential, when you're a flavor guy like me. I'VE NEVER MADE CONCENTRATES, I've only been doing years of research, and I'm finally on my first grow, and recently moved plants indoors! I'm planning to use this method on my trim, and worthless popcorn that may arise! Thank you, all, and any help/ feedback is much appreciated! Good luck all! The trich melts bud... thats a ice water rip thing i think. People use 25 Micron to keep the plant matter out. I use 3x coffee filter... a filter is 20ish microns. All these chemicals be it bho or booze strip the plant matter of the trichomes... if you use 44m youre for sure gonna pull plant material

Yup, definately a bubble bag thing. And its a 45 micron bag. Its not always the best bag. It depends on the strain and the size of trichs. Every run is different imo. Ive had 45, 73, even 120 be the best out of a batch.

A problem been running into.
The vape cartridges stop working.
I don't know if they are burning up the wick or clogged. Now I am pondering do I need to re-strain the oil before using, but worry I would lose a bunch in the damn coffee filter.
I already filter the liquid once through a T-SHIRT and then coffee filter. I really like how well the Tshirt lets me squeeze more out, without fear of ripping her. :) (thats what she said) lol.

Any ideas gents?

I DID order some new cartridges that are 'No Wick' and that might cure her.

Any time I've use ethos extraction and peg 400usp (my normal vape juice base), 100% of the time it bitches up every coil. I now only use bho, and never a burnt coil.

Are they all using the standard ecig battery or are some using box mods? How far into a cartridge is it doing it? I'll do some testing at different volts and such for yea to see if and when I can get one to fail, I'll keep you posted!

So volt settings definitely isn't the reason they are burning out. I've used clear up to 5 volts and the only thing that is suffering is taste. I wonder if you need to strain it again and if maybe the wick is getting clogged and that's causing the burn out. I've noticed they start hitting harder as they get further down the cartridge @miko

Well I'd give those a try and see what happens. I'm really thinking that wick gets clogged and when you go to take a drag I think it works to hard and shorts out.

The 45 Bubble bag(blonde hash) blows the 25 away with ice...don't know bout iso and spirits, but 25 is nasty tastin...

@miko I got one to burn out!!! It's deff because of the the higher wattage batteries. But instead of getting mad I pulled the juice and loaded it up. The juice is loose.....

The 73 is good, the 45 is great, but the 25 just sux (using Bubble Bags with ice water....)

Scraped up 2 dishes last night. Green silicone pad is an iso extract, NO heat, fan dry only. Orange silicone pad is an ethanol (diesel 153 proof) extraction, NO heat, air dry only. Not sure if I'll toss them in my vac chamber. Tested out the ethanol extraction last night in my rig, very nice. The ethanol is from my trimmer cleanout. The iso is from ?? Lol, what I had in my mason jar from prior iso cleanings. I probably have an out 10g of etoh, maybe 2 to 3g of iso.
