Your repair replacement policy made me decide to never buy another Mars light. It is bad business practice to not fully replace defective lights that are under warranty.

Scenario, you go to a watch store and buy a watch. It stops keeping time. You contact the watch store and they ask if you have a magnifying glass and some tweezers, when you say no, they offer to pay someone else to fix it after they ship you the parts... NO PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER BUY FROM THAT WATCH MAKER AGAIN IF THEY KNEW ABOUT IT.
MARS HYDRO IS A JOKE
First,Thank u for your post, which makes me realize there are still many things that need us to think and do,Second, back to the light, electric equipment which is very easy to have problem, sometimes they are affected by improper use, humidity, voltage and other factors.when problems come, our service will give our customer choices to fix the problem according to the warranty policy, but please put your feet to other shoes,if every light can be exchanged when any problem happens, then how can a company survive,as i said before, our repair fee is also very high, shipping fee for two sides:i think u are clearer than me ,labor cost:25 usd, parts:at least 5usd.
take Mars II 400 for example,189 usd/one pc,repair fee is at least 60 usd,we need to consider this cost, and i think all guys know our light price is not very high, hope all farmers understand we are doing our best to produce good quality products and provide good service, thank u for your support.

Good businesses replace defective items with brand new identical items with no questions asked, that's how they stay in business.
any problems about the light, please let me know, you can send a pic,let us sit down and solve it

I wish an admin would get in on this. I honestly don't think they should be advertising their products on the farm. Especially with how they wanna treat us growers.
Hello CaliRay,i am confused by these words, was wondering if there is any problems with our products, service and post, please let me know, hope to have the chance to do better:)

I myself have the mars hrdyo 2 900w it claims a 4x4 light area but it's more like a 3x3. I also have the mars hydro 4'11x4'11 grow tent, for $140 it was a good purchase it has light leaks a little on the velcro and a little on some zippers but it is a quality tent for sure

Now I haven't had a bad experience yet and I'm pretty happy BUT, your warranty policy is bullshit. What these customers are going through is crazy. If you guys are at such an expense to offer a warranty then why even do it if you just piss customers off with stupid policies?

You guys have lost a lot of reputation on this farm and these people are not small time people in the growing world, maybe you should think of a way to get a states based warehouse?

Here is a thought , with every mars light purchased you get a free solder gun since they want us to do the work!
hahah, smart idea, but actually if you don't have solder gun or if you can't solder,we can arrange the repair within warranty period, which is very flexible:)

The issue is that you guys say you have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. From what's being said it doesn't truly seem that way. Also, I think an admin should jump in. Simply because here at the farm if there is a problem with a product being advertised it's resolved forthwith.

That's why we need an admin involved in this. Because they are advertising their products on the farm and it's not satisfactory.

In the very early time, our recommendation is out of caution, cuz we don't want the light burns the plant,as more experiences accumulated, our coverage for Mars 900 has changed into 3.5' by 3.5,as you can see on our website.warranty policy is just for better service, don't want it block everyone's choice at last, also we have warehouse in some countries, like CA &NJ in USA

You guys claim that the 900 covers 3.5 ×3.5 area but that's not true.

please take a look at the coverage

There is little difference with the hanging distance change, the lower you hang, the smaller the coverage is.

It looks good on paper. But when the light is tested for the par it doesn't cover the area that you guys claim it does.

Yes

I'm with him my light doesnt.cover 3.5x3.5 unless I'm 2 feet above plants and then I'm getting zero penetration of the canopy so they have to stay close.

So to be advertising your product at the farm which has a good reputation is not good.

I don't think you guys should be allowed to advertise at the farm. Especially with false advertising.

its one thing to make lights cheap as possible..ok.but if you cant follow up with old for new on faulty goods, because of cost.maybe you cant afford to sell a 400 panel for 189dollars. I've got 2 of your 144x3reflector panels.already had to send driver bk once.im dreading diodes blowing.cus I may as well smash it if so because you wont pay to fix it.for a fact.

I say as growers we stop supporting a company that is not being honest
