theres the tent on its side......Funny thing is I think I might like running on its side. Would give me way more area but only 5 foot tall....stood up its 5x5 and 8 foot tall
I am getting another 1000w tomorrow to veg the babies longer. I thought i was getting bigger teens, but oh well........
let me know what you guys think about running it on the side.. or standing up???

update cheese is final flush tonight and 48 darkness.......6 week finishers are nice...........Mouth is watering:anim_30::

update on tent----did not finish the sewing tonight ...all good tomorrow I will get it finished and lite up---tonight just too keep the girls awake an alive I hung a 75w cfl . Still rocking the cfl.....lol

any advice on this tent set up would be cool. stand it up and do tall plants or lay it on its side and do shorter but more numbers......?????? is 5 foot enough head room for plants ?????

Seeing as how I am barely over 5' tall, putting that tent on its side makes a whole lotta sense to me.

What on earth happened to the tent zipper that you had to sew it like that...?? Have you ever heard of Heat 'n' Bond? If there's a next time, save yourself some headache and get some.

What is heat n hond......Somebody tripped inside the tent and ripped a couple teeth in the zipper so its not working plus the zipper thingy is lost

cant complain too much.....it was not a bad deal for 50 bucks

just looked it up. Heat n BOnd is that tape you heat up with an iron. I still got a few spots to goo so will get some today and do a combo attack so its sealed-sealed up real good.

I am 6'1 but don't mind crouching in there to get the numbers and yeild up... I just don't know a-lot on what would be better or how many plants I can really fit in there. Numbers are not an issue with us. We get the city special of 99 if we want too. 4 Med Patients in here and two are seniors.. My Grandma Loves The MMJ now. She uses Tinchures to sleep and help with over all body pain that comes along with almost being 90 years old. She also is in love with my plants. She always wants to see them and smell them. I covered up the smell the other day and she got mad....lol

She referes to it as her "MARRI" She is so cute:happy:happy

IMO running the tent sideways could work out for a sog... Lots of smaller bushes.

Or run it right side up and grow some trees!

Yea its a toss up....Whats going to get me more......LOL thats always the Million dollar question on here...

I seen it a million times in the forums. What will get me highest yield?...... No one magical answer will do it but I do like insite you guys have.. Guy said he ran 12-15 plants in there and still had some room to play with.

5x5 square can fit how many tree's I can go 8 feet up. I was thinking of doing 5 gallon bukets for pots? Get some bigger guys that way.

If you can get like 15 cuttings off a mother plant and run a sog in that tent sideways I'd be really impressed!

I am stoked on the cuts I got... They were all traded for nuits. I still got tons of nuits from the last grow show.

Do not waste your time with Roots Organics I used their products strictly as well as a friend of mine followed exactly what they said to do and it was all crap. Spent a shit load of money and had very crappy results, switched to fox farm paid alot lets had alot less work to do and way better results.

Nutes for clones, that's a sweet deal!

I'd veg some of those cuttings into mother plants in your homemade cfl grow box.
And take clones from your mother and then transfer cuttings into your grow tent for flowering. Then you'll never have to

trade/buy clones again!

AND

then you'll be rocking and rollin' a continuous grow.

If I had more space/money, I'd be doing that.

Yea Choices. I am waiting on a bro to hook up a MH so I can veg these girls right. The ballast I bough was hps. Should I start them on that till i get the MH or should I just wait? I have a 75 watt veg cfl over them right now cause i though i needed to wait, I also read they make a MH conversion bulb for HPS...how good do those work?

1:59 am update........tent is fixed and running. Light is hung and rocking out....My grow buddy told me not too stress about not being MH he said if I switch it cool, if not cool. Better too gets the kids under strong light then to wait for a MH..

Still is a good step-up from the BOX.... I will finish this diary with the CFL box with 3 plants left... 2 afgooo's and One thai skunk.........she is a chunky skunky. Have not uploaded her today but mannana. And the new tent will get her own new diary mannana .... Everyone deserves a fresh start......Right!?.........

Hey motherlode seen a couple of your post and it just came to me about your name. You farm the green and hunt the gold up there. I been up there a few times with you mountain BOYs. Good Boys up on them hills. Smoked some real nice green nuggs and was even lucky enough to swirrel a few out of the river as well.

To bad no dredgen I could get into that.....

lol yeah compression diving with a 4 inch dredge was so zen
