Strain names.

I prefer names that provide some info about the plant whether it be genetics, appearance, terpenes, cannabinoids, etc. I don’t mind nonsense names. However, I will not buy seeds that have names that are degrading or racist or seeds named after anything that makes light of war (agent orange). There are still large populations of Vietnamese that are suffering the effects of this herbicide.

Just because you don’t like the name off something doesn’t mean it has to go. I really hope bud doesn’t go into a yuppie noses in the air market. It’s all about the money for them and not the medical aspects. I am just hoping dispensaries are not selling strains with these names. I really think seedbanks should refuse to sell some of these strains that are extremely offensive. I don’t want to be part of a culture that is desensitized that like.

To each their own I guess. But sometimes ya got to give something the benefit of a doubt. Just because you don’t like the name doesn’t mean it’s a BAD strain. I personally will try something before I knock it. Some of the (weird) names you are seeing are coming from some MASTER growers who know their stuff. Just my opinion. Now I’m going to name my girls something like dirty bong water and trust me they will be killer. Lol they are already named gorilla glue and some strawberry sherbet

I would definitely give moose knuckle a try I’m open to at least trying things with ridiculous names, but I would be much quicker to shut them down if they weren’t amazing strains.

Same. Every dispensary I've been to dont carry names like that. When asked why, they say none of them are any better than other similar strains, and that it is not conducive to the image we want for cannabis. Imagine that.

I can't control what people sell, but I can control what I buy. I and many others wont buy that stuff.. none of them ever really make it big, mostly because if the stupid name choice.
