my new fireplace held up to the task....I lit a good sized fire at 9 PM, then at 12:30 AM and once more at 4:30 AM. I sure miss good old hardwood as all we have here are aspen and pine which burns very fast compared to a nice hardwood like maple and oak.

tonight it's gonna get even colder. bring it on.

Yeah baby. I used ciderblocks and broken cement pieces to construct it. I used woodstove vent pipe and piped it out through the side...even made my own wind/rain cap out of scrap metal. I'll cover it with some decorative rock later down the road.

ahhh..heat. I made a temporary door out of old metal and I made a small breather hole to adjust air intake. I'd like to run the rock right up through the roof and vent it that way and maybe shape the fireplace like an adobe southwest chiminea. .

Royal Hawaiian x Sweet Tooth. This single plant did very well here. I wish I could get more.

I had to make room for the fireplace so these gals will camp out in the sunroom until they finish. from L to R: Bubba-shine , Royal Hawaiian x Sweet Tooth, White Siberian ( WWxAK47), and Original Amnesia.

Another goodsized Bubbashine superimposed over an Afgan 1 with a lil Bubba in the back. Afgan #1 (Sensi Seed)is supposed to be 100 indica but both fems I have are monsters and filling in nice. They have a way to go yet.
..That's a BubbaShine starting to kick into high gear. She's starting to smell like blueberry and citrus and is filling in nicely.
