No man you are right if that is the normal height. Too far. His node spacing is so tight I’ll bet he lowers it right @Thebestoftheworst ?

Correct i was hoping for a reason for some stretch but I’m very interested in the heights for each stage

looks about right, but how far is it and what is the intensity at?
get a app called photone on Iphone. its free and it's not accurate. lol! but it helps to get some sort of idea of lux numbers for what its worth
if you don't have an iphone than any open source light measuring app.

Also @Moe.Red I did lower the light like you and @PK1 suggested . I count 9 tops I did remove one fan leave in order to give a little light to two tops . And I had set res ppm to 600 @5.8 Sunday and today I’m 450 ppm at 5.8 with res temp of 20c and room temp 79 . Night times 70 . Does this mean I need to be upping the dosage ? Water level has dropped inch and a half of keep it at 600 ? Also do I add up a gallon at 600 and just add that to my res ? Never done a top off

just watch out for heat burns from the light. Get some fans in there for air circulation. I poiint the fan to the light so it breaks the heat.
look for leaves tacoing and if it is than raise it a bit or reduce the intensity.

If it was me, i would bend the top to get more lights to the bottom branches.
read this and you should pick up a lot of tips

PK Monster Closet | Deep water culture (dwc) | Gorilla Glue

Welcome to my monster hydro closet. In here i've got 3ft width 6ft length and a 8ft ceiling. I've got reflective styrofoam on the walls that is for now about 4 ft tall. I didn't put anything on the floor as i wanted the temperature from the floor to cool...

ya, just top it with water and keep your ec/ppm the same and than change the rez water totally every week or so. if not, you'll start seeing deficiencies on leaves. Your ph wont stay stable and other problems will occure. This is one of the reasons i said to read my journal and that those bucks are headache.

Im surprised you don't have half of the problems i had with 5 gallons

The orange bucket is what I kid my new nutes in befor doing res change so I can take my time is was just in picture today the small box under the cloner is a dehumidifier for backup but is not plugged in. Humidity is 61 and temp is 79 . Res temp is 20*c and I have a inline fan blowing directly on plant as well as a ducted mini split with two 6 inch registers blowing air from above . I will add some ovulating fans tho but plant is always in direct wind
