Man did I witness a spectacular event this morning. I moved the Hashplant inside to do its thing like you recommended. I was standing right in front of it this morning and a handful of the pollen sacks burst open. I’ve never actually seen that happen.

this brings that "by the skin of your teeth" phrase to mind lmao. If that happened around your flowering girls, in dry, circulating grow space air, youd have probably seeded almost every calyx in the space that had white pistils and a viable ovule.


put a piece of foil under her and start collecting! im hoping the sudden jump to 11 hrs darkness outside will have my males making some panic induced pre-reveg pollen i can grab. I highly doubt the oaxaca will get confused though. The haymeadow cross males are all starting to go into flower though. fingers crossed

if you drop some on foil, and put it in a paper envelope, then put that in a ziplock, flatten the air out and put it in the freezer, itll keep for several years long as ya do it in dry, AC air. I wouldnt have any more banjo x columbian seeds if i hadnt thought ahead to preserve some pollen last fall from the force hermed female. managed to get one clutch of em take when i made all the xpb2 fem crosses and the f2 last tent. Only had two take from the original pollenated flower last fall and one hermed out on me early flower and got culled, and i couldnt get a clone to take from this one.

i use a fresh dollar store paintbrush to apply it right out of the envelope.


put some hashplant pollen back and you can run some stabilizing work on your favorite phenos off in the corners, in the direction of the hashplant too. And keep it reg (non-fem) inbreeding to avoid stacking recessive female hermie traits. can select for exactly what you want to see in your plants.

it annoyed me a lot i only got a ocuple females from my original colombo land race pops. Had to make the last f1 generation of the peaceblaster a fem f1 (r1). Had to bring the haymeadow male in on a couple peaceblasters to hunt for an appropriate male pheno to take the lineage back to the reg side so i can stabilize it without stacking hermies up ahead of the fem crosses at the end of it.

Technically the peaceblaster fems are an R2. And im unwilling to stack females on themselves any further then that

so, I left the door open to my tent thats like a week into 12/12 last night too and didnt notice till some time after 11am this morning, and the blinds were up in the window too. Opposite side the room from the tent, facing due east into the sun. They had a beautiful, and clear view of the sunrise this morning about 6 hours into the dark cycle, 1 week-ish into 12-12.

Went up there about ten mins after lights on. Big woopsie. Should be aight lmao.



In other news im about to sever my armistice with the earwigs. They're eating mom's strawberries now. They done fucked up. This means war. Removing ear wig nests from pots or rasied beds so they wont come back, is a hands-on, brutal affair for an earwig nest. Squish every earwig you can find, i recommend a brick or a stomp-n-twist because pyrethrin and spinosad doesnt hurt them, then come back in 5 days, and smash all the babies you can find before they harden. Repeat

PSA: if your Mums and marigolds show signs of insect damage, but you never see any and know insects shouldnt be able to bite em without dying, you got earwigs. if you have snail or slug damage on your fruits and no slime trails, you got ear wigs. If something is eating your cannabis seedlings but NOT digging up the roots, you have earwigs, not mice or beetles. If whatever is causing your damage isnt mice and makes it past DE rings, you got earwigs, probably living in your potting soil itself.

But a mod ive seen chastising people for double nominating, himself double nominated this month. While i was nominated like 4 times, and ended up in the finals twice. Sooooo, which is it? ya know?

That wasnt the first time something like this has happened and i pointed it out either. But no one will actually inform me why the rule only aspplies to some people, and only in certain ways depending on context. And i dont want to have any part of a contest that appears to work that way, even if its just for fun lol

In all of the peaceblaster fem f2 (r2) seeds I made. Probably 300-400 of them ...


There was one single seed like 2x the size of all the others. It came out of the very tip of the fattest cola. Is 100% for sure a pb4 seed not an sq1 or banjo seed. Way too dark. The Columbian is strong in these beans.

I gotta pop it. I must know why it's so fat.

Near Final tally on the first 24 plant haymeadow/haymeadow cross hunt. 4 males kept. 2 females. Males are M86 x haymeadow, PB2 x haymeadow, cman x okie x haymeadow, and pure haymeadow

Females kept are an m86 x haymeadow pheno, and a pure haymeadow pheno. I have two other female phenos but they grow like derps. I'ma flower em and let em go.

Once I get run through these I'll be hunting another 24 haymeadow crosses once again. I'm planning on turning these crosses Into a legit, stable strain or two.

I'll be keeping and preserving seed stock of every generation involved as well as keeping mother's and father's of the best phenos around. And will have end results in reg and fem seeds both. For all my projects in working on.

Looking like m86 and the mango x haymeadow will both be done in a week or two tbh. Definitely looks likea tent that was trashbagged and hauled to a new place

Still regretting putting them back in the tent the same way they were after the move. The banjo x Columbian that's in the front taking over half the tent now prob has 3-4 weeks left.

Gonna be a bitch n a half to harvest those two without damaging the banjo x Columbian lol

thats about what i do anyway. All the frosty trim and poppcorns usually go into dabs and bubble or dry ice sift.


Its still gonna be a bitch with that banjo cross in there, i should have put her in the back after the move, but i wanted to cvhange their environment as little as possible since they were already well into flower. shes like 6 inches taller then the other two, her canopy is like 6 inches deeper, and she bullied herself into taking up over half the volume in the tent. She was the smallest of the 3 when she got put in there. Lost her mind after the flip. She is half land race sativa though. so not too surprising


Remember when i told ya i dont even bother flowering the pure sativa land races inside? ..... yea.... that, lmao. Id want a 7ft tall 5x5 at minimum for that lol. i run 5ft tall 32x32 tents because of how easy they are to put anywhere and look like theyre supposed to be there. And venting them with a single exhaust is actually efficient without stupidly loud high CFM fans. I can vent em with simple Hvac booster fans and just run passive dust filtered intakes with no airflow lulls in the tent anywhere, even when theyre stuffed to the gills. Id rather run three 32x32s then one 5x5. Practically the same footprint, but i am a huge fan of modular setups. Same reason id rather run 4 low wattage panel lights on a single driver with variable voltage boosters for each light vs one of those even spread bar lights with a single dimmer. Same end result, but far more modular and less heat output directly into the tent itself. Efficiency, usability, and cost benefits along side an identical reward potential. .
