It would be hard to fill a tent properly without creating a disaster with a single land race sativa plant flowering in the size of tent i like to use lmao.

The tent would quickly become dimensionally challenging in every direction. If i had it happy and thriving, and flipped a foot tall pure columbian that was trained out to a canopy, and still had 3 foot of usable vertical space, id probably outgrow the setup by week 6-8 of flower on a plant that grows the entire time its flowering and can flower for up to 13/14 weeks indoors.

my columbian dominant peaceblaster pheno last year, started seed in april, cut the plant right after Halloween. Was 14ft tall 15-16ft wide and pulled 3 lbs dry, excluding popcorn, larf, and sugar trims. 3 lbs and it was fluffy foxtaily land race sativa flower. The buds filled five 1.75gal totes and a couple gallon freezer bags. The plant was only 7 months old.

i still have ove a pound of it, and ive given it away like cheap smokes at a dead concert. I dont grow those plants indoors. i have in the past. Its a very stressful thing, and if you dont nail them perfectly indoors, and theyre extremely picky indoors to boot, the flower quality suffers greatly.

🪕 x Columbian 🤩. Still kicking myself in the balls about not having a clone of her.

So I'm definitely going to get some early male pollen from all the haymeadow hunt males. I think I'll be culling the m86 x haymeadow make though.

Cman x okie x haymeadow. Showing some early color too. If I can get it soon enough I'm gonna try to pollinate a flower on the banjo x Columbian inside with this one, and just leave that flower to over ripen, and hopefully reveg too

As do i. She has a proudness to her.

I think Pb3 is my favorite looking plant in there though. I think PB3 is my favorite plant to smoke on that i have all around tbh. Her potency is very acceptable, but the qualities to her high are pre unequalled. Its just so pleasant and comfy. I still havent come across a male or female either one that im willing to use to make seeds with her though. honestly, im not sure if ive ever had another plant id be willing to breed with her at any time or not. Nothing comes to mind. Pb3 is very different from anything else i have or have had. Everything from terp profile, to quality of the high, to flower expression and structure, even her glandular trichomes arent like other plants. they're very different. The closest thing i can even come up with to compare her to are the old 90s chems and the old jacks, which are more or less extinct at this point.

if i was forced to keep just one plant to grow and smoke forever, out of everything i have, i wouldnt hesitate to pick PB3 even though shes def not at the top in terms of shear potency. If i had to guess on THC %, she may even be my least potent plant on paper tbh. I fuckin love the plant and the smoke though. There's nothing else like it (not today anyway) and im not the only one who thinks so.

When ya smoke PB3, everything just feels ok. Body, mind, heart soul... its just wonderfully comfortable. it doesnt dull you out, but it doesnt get ya all racey and stimulated either. It reminds me of what my body felt like when i was a kid. Nothing hurt, in fact, it feels nice to have a body. (until i started smoking pb3 last fall i had forgot this sensation could even exist) Its a truly wonderful thing lol. And it does all of that while this uncanny feeling of nostalgia just kinda wraps around you. Is genuinely one of the most beautiful plants ive ever popped and i dont mean just looking at it either. It prob wont remind you exactly what it reminds me either, but smoking this flower *will* immediately remind you of something you love and havent had for a long time, whatever that may be. Nostalgia is one of the qualities of it's high.

I honestly get a little bummed when i think about making seeds from her to share with you guys. No matter what cross i make, its going to change the qualities of the high substantially, and that's what's so wonderful about pb3. Most plants do work on the mind, PB3 does work on the mind, heart and soul all. She's a genuine Plant teacher with a recognizable intelligence and intention, The very thing we have lost entirely in most modern inbred lineages. You learn things about life and yourself just by existing around that plant, let alone consuming it lol.

Will prob be harvesting maui86 tonight. I've been too generous with my indoor stuff and I'm back down to old outdoor to smoke on now lol.

She's at 90+% cloudy trichs, 90+% red pistils. Very dense and developed all the way down. Great candidate for a slightly early harvest. Will be right at 7weeks flower, 8.5 on 12/12. By some grower standards it's not even early though lol.

She's been on straight water for a couple waterings and she's starting to fade out for the cut now 🤙🔥

The new tent still looking pretty damn immaculate. Doing my best to keep it that way 👍 @TheGoldenRoad @MartyMcFly42oh , @Mikedin , This was a tent vegged start to end of stretch on even ratios. (20-20-20). Ill be starting to dial in more flowering leaning ratios very soon. within a week or so. High N low P might produce marginally more explosive growth, but plants will never look as happy as ones vegged on straight even ratios. If i have the time and plants to do even ratio Veg, i do, on everything. But i *always* veg my sativas and land racey plants on even ratios, without exceptions. It is superior for plants along those lines in every conceivable metric. Just is what it is far as that is concerned.

This has actually been jacks 202020 a from seedling til now on all of these, nothing else. Ill be working green leaf PK boost in on top of the jacks as i drop the jacks back for flower. Thats it. Nothing else. Only thing that looks happier then a dialed in jacks plant, is a dialed in living soil plant. urea > nitrates > ammonia

Probably should have brought the outdoor girls under the grow light. Getting a bit leggy from a super cloudy week. Very happy and healthy though. They'll be just fine. Starting to take off quick now.

*Very* unexpectedly the Alien Rider autos are actually quickest out the gate and growing fastest. They're even just barely out pacing the pb4 x haymeadow atm 🙃 I doubt that'll hold out long, but that's very impressive for an indica Dom Auto.

U cut the maui86 late last night. But early but I want more indoor in the jars. Bout 90% cloudy trichs. Mostly red pistils.

Prob a couple ounces dry. These buds are VERY dense and weighty. Even the popcorns have decent mass.

In all of the peaceblaster fem f2 (r2) seeds I made. Probably 300-400 of them ...

There was one single seed like 2x the size of all the others. It came out of the very tip of the fattest cola. Is 100% for sure a pb4 seed not an sq1 or banjo seed. Way too dark. The Columbian is strong in these beans.

I gotta pop it. I must know why it's so fat.
could be a twin.

After 12 hours of running two 650sq ft dehumidifiers in the basement, I've managed to get it from 76% humidity down to 69%

Supposed to rain starting tonight for next two days.

You seem to be keeping even the iffy ones.
Is that until they show sex, or just because you love the underdog like me? LOL

Wait, and I am taking your sexing advice because..... LOL

i didnt actually sex any of these very closely, and was culling before they even sexed technically. that oaxaca was guess sexed by structure, so was the super bushy male haymeadow that i assumed was female lol.

That oaxaca is just now showing is first tiny preflowers, its a pure sativa land race lol. Just now about 12 weeks old. She might be a little less. A male prob would showed first tiny nibs a week or two ago. And tbh i need to bust the loupe out to be totally sure. The nibs look to be pretty teart drop shaped and shes stating to branch a bit though. I highly doubt ill even have half ripe buds on those things by first frost where im at either, They take 3 months to bud out all the way and never actually totally ripen either. And ive been told at my latitude i wont see budlets until into September. im just using them for some crosses to hunt and play with. I doubt that thing will even get confused and reveg,

An interesting side note ive noticed over time. Most photoperiod plants take about as long to flower out as they take to show first tiny preflowers from seed pop. From sativa land races to fast flowering indicas. Always exceptions but so far in my experience personally that observation continues to hold at least mostly true if plants are kept happy and thriving

and do you mean with the outdoor seeds? Yea i try to keep all of those alive into the harvest season unless males unless im just trying to hunt out some new phenos. And i just dont keep clones of the ones i end up wanting to let go. Im not doing this years outdoor like last year. I dont need to find new desirable phenos to work with yet. I dont actualyl need anything im putting outdoors, im just doing it to run em and put some smoke in the jars for cheap. Im pretty confident in the phenos that made those seed. And the autos are just because i have them, and mom wanted to grow some. Figured might as well carefully make her some more seeds from her favorites while we're at it.

the stunted pb4 x haymeadow and queen b fems were just crap luck though. They got eaten up by earwigs, so if i can keep em alive ill still give em the chance to express. The totally stunted b4 x haymeadow might be the most impressive seedling of the bunch imho. she got eaten down to a straight Nub by the earwigs and pulled through. They even chewed all the way around her stem, but she (hopefully a she) scarred up and stayed alive even while baking in full tilt southern sun. As far as im concerned, all marks in favor of the vitality of that plant.

The males were chosen from 13 males from a 24 plant hunt i started back at the other place and hauled over here. I ended up with 3 chosen females from the 11 i had from that hunt. And ill probably be culling the maui86 x haymeadow male soon, i dont think ill be using that one to make any seed. but yea, the 7 haymeadow/haymeadow cross plants i have were weaseled out of a pretty good size chunk of plants. And tbh,. looking like only 3 of the 7/24 will be passing their genes on into the future. 2 males and a single female lol. Maybe 2 females.

im trying to not run my mouth so much in this journal. Failing 🤣
