@Mogrow - Nothing really happened, just worry for my family and we don't need the money and we are not a legal state.. so why risk it.. too many guys still getting busted... like 20 big busts this month already.. sad shit.

@PButter - thanks brother. Just a crop. Wish I could have tried the high CBD stuff! :)

Good morning~

Woke up at 3am and had a really bad feeling I needed to chop plants asap. not sure WTF, but I went with my gut and chopped... Could be nothing, and I hope so... but you have to trust your gut..

Now all that remains is empty pots and some dried tears. The only silver lining is I know I can clear the rooms in under 30 minutes.

Close to 100 2-3 month olds gone. Sad they only took up 1 big trash bag... :(

Our state pharmacy board is discussing legalizing soon, but who knows.. Anyhow, back to the real job for a while.

I plan to stay on the site, my bean stock is still quite high... :)
Thanks for all the knowledge thus far everyone.

LG,
Yeah Legal, really sorry to hear this but understandable.Gotta do what feels right in the end.Glad to hear you're sticking around though!

This should prove I'm a girl;)

Big Question folks (sorry, 10th cup of coffee and if you remember been up since 3am chopping plants!)

Just read that 18 members of congress sent a letter to president asking him to change MJ SCH1 classification.
So on the rare chance that this actually happened, would getting busted still be a felony at state level?

Or would states also have to change their law before this would get downgraded?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/marijuana-legalization-progress-members-congress-141100304.html
A letter, signed and sent by federal legislators Wednesday February 12th, 2014 states that marijuana’s current status “makes no sense,” and requests that President Obama “instruct Attorney General Holder to delist or classify marijuana in a more appropriate way.”

Guess some just go for Maxwell House... ;)

Nepal - Syangja Lot 2 (Limited)
$12.95

FROM THE GEEK FILE
  • COUNTRY: Nepal
  • REGION: Gandaki Zone
  • FARM: Syangja Village
  • PROCESS: Washed
  • ALTITUDE: 1100 meters
  • CUPPING NOTES: Smooth, sweet nutty tones dance in the elixir, gentle and not overbearing with mild acidity.
A rare bean from outside the "coffee belt" and hailing from, of all places, the Himalayan slopes of Nepal. Naturally organic and grown on small plot farms surrounding the village of Syangja in Northern Nepal, this micro lot is a reflection of the tenacity of the Nepalese farmer. A mild coffee, giving meaning to the word smooth, its sweet nutty tones dance in the elixir. Gentle and not overbearing with mild acidity making it a favorite morning cup. Check out more photos here from the sourcing trip.

For a limited time only.

G'Evening y'all. Spent most of the day doing chores in the yard & doing some painting.
LG, I have also been a believer in "gut feelings". It served me very well for a lot of years slinging canna. I feel you did the right thing. Until Federal & State Laws are changed it's still going to be a felony. If they re-classify it will make it easier to change laws.

Legal, I am sorry to hear you chopped everything. I am sure everything was alright beforehand, but you now know that everything is absolutely alright.

If Cannabis is rescheduled it would still be illegal, so there would still be federal penalties. However those penalties would be reduced from what they are now. In my opinion the greatest benefit of rescheduling is that it would allow Cannabis to be used for medical purposes. In fact doctors would be allowed to write prescriptions for Cannabis, as opposed to the recommendations they write currently. It also creates an opportunity for scientists to get FDA and DEA approval to perform studies on Cannabis. So while rescheduling is not legalization, it does change the face of Cannabis laws in the USA.
