Late day greetings Farmers!
Amazing weather in the deep southern lands... albeit, I could REALLY do without all this snot inducing pollen crap.
*uuugh... loogies!

Inthegorge... stunning. I'm a huge apricot lover, but the Texas weather is a bit rough on them. So nice to see that view.
Thanks for the share!

Seamaiden~ Congrats!
(yeah, nothing meaner than a Momma!) I've got a Serama(tiny twat) who chases off our 130# Malamute if he even comes too close to the coop. Talk about MOXY!

Y'all out there on the West, be prepared & careful. The quakes, the ground pressure, even the gasses... all looking scary! I would be remiss if I didn't feel concerned.

Freakin' jazzed. After having it in a dilapidated, falling apart, picture frame for 23 years, Seamaiden and I finally got this rare poster professionally framed and it is now ready to be proudly displayed in our Living Room. Less than 500 of these exist in the world today...
Jedi 1

Indeed...The movie titled in the poster never "existed". The story goes that it was originally titled as you see it in the pic above. They had everything ready to go, fired up the presses, started printing when one of Lucas' staff said "WAIT!!! STOP EVERYTHING!!! Jedi Knights are good guys! They don't get revenge!"...everyone stopped and agreed. so they redid the credits and the posters and ran it as "Return Of The Jedi"...Some of the posters were smuggled out and I got one of them. :)

I realized that yuban in a french press, is still not terrible but nowhere near Bustelo.

Fractal got some new ink and a new keyboard to mess around with so I'm stoked. .. Yamaha DS55 which I traded for an older DX7 plus cash. Makes me want to leave my guitar in the case for a while now LOL.

AWESOME POSTER PGD!

We had to staple the hen into the nest box area. Every time she went out to eat the chick would follow her down the ramp (I'll post up a link to the coop we got) and couldn't get it back UP the ramp, leaving the rest of the clutch unmanned. So, we got some hardware wire and stapled her inside with the chick and the rest of the clutch. Gotta get a hatch door onto there now, me no diggy.
Hummm
I lived in Johnson Valley in 85/86,
right after I got out of Georgia;
and I had things down on shelves from this new La Habra quake--

I want to be able to do that! Mostly stuff thrown off shelves and such is what's being experienced, UNLESS you're one of the people right over the epicenter/fault line. Speaking of which...
Good morning Farm, I'm watching the morning news and I am surprised by how much damage the quake did in La Habra and Fullerton. I felt one good jolt in Laguna but no damage. The Puente Hiils Thrust is what they're calling it.
So it's a named, known fault? That's information I haven't been able to find. It's a bit of a pisser that they're calling it the Puente Hills thrust when it's not in the Puente Hills, makes understanding a bit more difficult. So, how much damage did it do? I don't watch much news, especially local (to Sacramento), so I haven't seen anything other than my father's ad for a plasma tv that needs a new screen, and the walking BBQ.

Good morning ! Coffee is in order as I was up most of the night on snow watch that never happened. It got plenty cold but no snow on the RV roof .

Mostly toppled brick walls and chimneys, that kind of thing. I was surprised because it was pretty mild in Laguna and that's only 30 miles away. The fault runs from La Habra and right under LA. Lucy, the earthquake lady from Cal Tech, said this fault has the potential to be more devastating in our immediate area than the San Andreas. I think we are overdue for a really big quake in California.

A question for the Old Timers....

Does any body remember where/who these Coffee shop forums first originated from.
I remember the first coffee shop post, I can see the image of front door in my head from the real shop it was created after.
The first edition to this one they have all been great places to hang your hat and enjoy each others company. You can really get to know a person here, thier likes/dislikes/habits/hobbies. It's fuckin great.
Been a while since I really hung out, I miss it but I got a lot on my plate these daze and so can only come in for the occasional cuban coffee Boo style @boo
By the end of the summer I hope to be even more busy.
