Sounds like you’re further North than me. Same reason I don’t use the garage. Way to cold in winter and way too hot in summer.

Haha im so pumped i almost spent my last 80 dollars on an order from Trustfall, but i held myself back cause my wife would kill me lmao. I used to live at a Christian camp, they didnt like me and i ended up getting kicked out cause i didnt "fit in" lmfao

Ah...close but I’m further North. Toronto isn’t bad but if we didn’t have big trees to cool and shade our yard we wouldn’t have a garden by summer.

Last few summers wiped out sections of lawn bit by bit. Then dandelions followed. Even with 4 rain barrels we kept running out of rain water.

Fleas, spider mites, rabbits and other wildlife seem intent on eating or digging up what we try to save. (It seems my dogs treatment doesn’t stop her from getting fleas, they just don’t last.)

Sounds dumb but I put nylon stockings over my intake & output fan vents. Easy to vacuum and keep an eye on.

Still clean the fan and blades after every 2 grows.

Ok got to ask whose stockings are/were they LOL great idea might have to use that but my wife would kill me I took hers.

I ask my wife to pick up good cheap ones. She gets to keep what I don’t want/use.

Good as a filter on a few things. Never tried it for garden teas...that’s what socks are for!

No matter my training, education, or experience I find desperation & ingenuity make up for a lot. My uncle used to call it “farm smart”.

Used to love Red Green as that was the same idea, just extreme.

Well, if all goes well with Vipar, I'm going to be making these work lights for out in my shed, as there isnt enough light out there and id like to start using it for all my transplanting and amending so im not making a mess in my house anymore

Yeah its stupid here, its usually to cold by the beginning or middle of october, all the way through april, sometimes may its still dropping into the low 30s at night so i dont put anything outside until the 1st of june, it sucks.
