Some day that woman is gonna string you up, chickenman! Can't say as I'd blame her, either. ;)

I had some plans today, and then they went to shit. Dog shit. Dog woke me up at 3:30am or so, whining and moaning. She usually does this when there are raccoons outside that she wants to get to. Well, IT'S FUCKING COLD! So I told her to shut the fuck up, then locked her in a bedroom. Well she showed me! She didn't shit *all* over the bedroom, but she left a trail. Thank God we got that carpet cleaner all those years ago, made quick work of the mess once I picked up what big chunks that could be picked up.

Ya wanna really get me going in the morning? Make me clean. Then watch the fuck OUT. And get outta my way!

I can go hit up some of my favorite fishing spots within an hour of my driveway. I'd tell you about them, but then I'd have to kill you for fertilizer...

In this increasingly crowded state, I gotta keep my secret fishing spots secret any way I can. Besides, my approach saves on both fertilizer... and complaints.

I like getting folks shroomed up, show them my river, and watch them marvel mouth open, mind blown, and the fishing can be fun too.....
On my river I never have problems with other fisherman.
Except one time this fella cut 20 feet in front of me and started casting..
WTF? We have miles and miles of river but he cuts right in front of me???
Was grasshopper season so I casted my hopper at him 50 feet or so away right at him and snagged his hat off his head, set hook line broke with hopper in his hat that floated down river...
The guy charged me, I stood my grounds his buddy saw the whole thing and charged as well I acted like Jack Nicholson, crazly told them better not fuck with me, bluffing, of course and they backed off cursing.....

Chores, firewood run, should be done by noon then chill out. Busted ass last 3 days with this sudden winter. barn clean outs, chickens are confined in barns, won't venture out till I shovel runs which takes 8 hours or so a little at a time. Folks It is a lot of work at times it is overwhelming and at end of day I is wore out like a rented mule.
But when I go out this morning and open barn doors and see the fresh wood chip and hay and see how happy and healthy my chickens and goats are it's all worth it. When I worked at United for 22 years it was fuck the dog, sell the pups. Now it's all on me to manage my own way, huge responsibility all on me.
Off I go kind late hash dube got me tore up.....

Something is wrong with the dog. Of course it happens not only as the weekend is approaching, but as we have snow on the ground (I hear it's down to 1,000') and more is on the way, so even IF the vet were open, it's gonna be a pain in the ass to get to him. Assuming the roads are plowed and open, of course.

Yesterday, someone got on the guest bed and shit on it. My sense of smell is bad enough that I can't tell if it was dog or cat, but I'm thinkin' dog. This morning, I stepped on a turd. Fortunately it was nice and hard, so it didn't squish into the carpet or between my toes, but it was cold. Nothin' like steppin' on a hard cold turd first thing in the morning!

Dog visually appears fine, is eating well, drinking, spry as she ever was. But she has NEVER shit in the house before this. She's peed when left inside for too long, and when we first got her she marked my father-in-law's and son's bedrooms pretty badly (how I discovered Odorcide!). But shitting in the house? Nuh uh. So, I think something's wrong with her. If she had a good hair coat like a Lab, Rottie or GSD I'd let her spend more time outside, but she's got a very thin single layer hair coat, very fine and just can't take being left out overnight if it gets below 40*F.

I'm not ready for something to be seriously wrong with this dog, it seems like I just lost my other dog. And, I'm not ready for a puppy (neither is poor Dave). That old dog was a Lab mix, and once she got to the point of being leaky she didn't like staying in the house, she wanted OUT. I think she knew she leaked and was embarrassed by it (talk about anthropomorphising your animals, eh?). She'd stay out in the worst snow, I'd bring her in and she'd be at the door, tail wagging low, "Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out." So, I did.

If only it were as simple as stitching her asshole up. :o

Not much I can do with a foot of snow on the ground( more on the way) and temps dropping to 18 degrees tonight. I may try to clear a path to the generator knock the snow off the truck and the RV roof so it doesn`t build up anymore and have a joint and a hot rum drink. Thinking of making chicken enchiladas for dinner.

First meal being cooked in new house. Split pea with ham. Then trying to get the motorcycle down the hill before the snow starts.

Still trying to figure out why a guy with a motorcycle bought a house where it snows,

Harvest time, will be timing, moving the ladies in waiting into flower now that I can pull the others at harvest. This is my first harvest of Bubba Jones, not a great yield but looks great. Looking forward to tasting her.....wait....wait.
Will be cleaning the room and lights before moving a Super Lemon Haze and a Dairy Queen into flower. Great day for this cause the temp outside is as cold as Ken's goat.
