These were actually a gift from a really good friend from the waaaaaay back machine. I was just a strapping young lad in those days. Wasn’t growing yet. Def a smoker. Those are a big bud homegrown run my friend ran back then. He kept a few others too. I was incredibly blessed to know grateful Fred. A couple of y’all may have met him once upon a time, you definitely spun around him once or twice if you were up front😜 he gifted me w/ a few real badass keepers over the years before he passed rip Fred 🌈

So is there anyway to check for this virus outside of buying an expensive device to test for it? Phenohunting high quality packs of seeds seems more important than ever. The 10% bleach solution sprayed on seeds sounds like a good idea. A 10% hydrogen peroxide solution would probably achieve the same goal.

Not sure how this virus is going to be stopped at this point. This is an interesting article I found. This excerpt is particularly concerning considering most estimates are that about 80% of the market currently is GSC hybrids.

"Interestingly, the review article also notes that only a few cannabis cultivars actually show symptoms associated with HLVd when infected, which implies that the disease severity and symptoms could be genotype-dependent. Although, as the review authors also point out, there is no current evidence of any HLVd-resistant cultivars."

I was going to ask about HP as I always pre soak seed in a dilution of it probably too weak for this purpose though.

i got an idea lets all make a pack to where if any of us in our lifetime ever invent a time machine that we will go back to the 60's grab us all some god damn original seeds and bring them back and send us all some so when we wake up tomorrow the package is in the mail

There is a zillion cloning threads on the naked THCFarmer site yet this one is called "Which is the most reliable seed bank"
