100% ppfd or pfd should be used to be accurate.
Actually you need all 3 and a spectral chart to guage a lights effectiveness.

Dam you
Nope dam .. as in stop.*Damn. ;-)
OuchAnd i just trimmed a 123 grams of citral pow flowers after partying with friends all night and sleeping maybe 2 hours before the weather crunched my paiatic nerve again. 3 hrs of trimming has not helped. Lol

Stop you... Lol.
Ok I'm grasping at straws here. Can you tell.
But honestly most non blurple grow lights I feel should just go by ppfd. And look at the spectrum seperatly. The addition of UV and IR specifically.
But U right man.
Yeah like the ones listed in this thread. I think LED (again led is not led) is in a good place right now. And seeing these prices it won't be long before it's the new standard.Ppfd is skewed by the wide blue range in most led phosphor blues.
A standard spectral chart with a ppfd level instead of no level would be best. But then you could see how crappy most of the cheap led’s are for usable output.
And how much higher the red spike is with cmh and hps compared to led.
Although they are making proper boards and cobs and strips now.

You can increase green (visible) light without increasing par.
I think a 3000k quality led with chm would also kick ass. To be honest I the more diverse light sources only makes sense to be more effective. But eventually led will have that covered by itselfWell its almost cold enough out for me to add my 315 cmh to the 2 600hps. I still have not seen an led grow make flowers like the combination i will be running.
And i might 12/12 some of these awesome reg seeds i got around here. Guess i can just reveg and grow the females more and then re flower. No?
Par includes green too from the charts I've seen. Maybe some detectors exclude it, but then it wouldn't be 2700k anymore

Most of the green is in between the blue and red humps.
The color temps are pretty much just made up. My hps is around 2700k and the spectral chart is completely different than the led lamp.
Well on the plus side, in a couple weeks if the pain isnt gone, you'll have the medicine
With the v2 respec I think MH would be better. They have the far redThe 3000k is bullshit. The diodes are blue with a coating. Leds are heavy in blue spectrum. Better to go with an led and hps of we are mixing tech. Cmh is blue heavy as well. So is sunlight though. But less leafy flowers is a benefit of indoor growing. Well it used to be.

I just smoked some now. Already smooth and tastes like pinapple. Has a real nice kushy relaxing body buzz.
Im sad. This plant is gone now and it was the most pinapple smelling and tasting plant ever.
And after a good 8 week cure it tastes almost like chocolate pinapple. Maybe mocha.
