Im not sure I trust those Accu-rite gauges...maybe because I’m wishfully thinking they can’t be as accurate as the AC Cloudline one is. I have the lights up 75-80% and it’s got warmer already. Here’s video with fan on 6. My real problem is no outside air and since it’s cold today, I’m heating the house.

overall looks good, roots are for sure through the Pete, tents not more sucked in than mine, increase watering if you feel it’s right, the plants tell me what to do most the time if I pay attention honestly I’d ask aqua or mimed from here I just pop seeds with love lol I don’t know how to grow weed hahahha

Turned lights to full power. Looks like heat is going to be an issue, I did not think I’d have any problems but 81/84 is too hot don’t you think? I’m going to find a third temp gauge to test later today if I am not floating away with all the rain here.

With seedlings that’s a little hot imho, what can you do to reduce the temp?

Maybe turn the lights back to 75-80% and move the seedlings a little closer to the lights?

That's a bit too hot and too dry for seedlings. Need to correct those variables before you run into issues I think.
I would just turn the light down to 50% or so. Seedlings dont like too much light anyway, I start all my seedlings under T5 fluorescents for the first 2-3 weeks for that reason. They prefer the lower intensity when they are mostly growing a root system underground and only have young delicate foliage up top.

Turning the light down should accomplish both lowering the temp and increasing the RH.

So I turned them back down and opened the two lower side vents. That’s ok for now but not during flower time, so I’ve got to either force more air in with a fan or get an AC unit (last resort). This is with vents open now.

few days of changing RH and temps. Trying to figure out the impacts and same time trying to make sure the second timer for osc fan and humidifier works right. The issue is these variances in gauges. Which to believe. I want to believe the cloud line fan one but it’s not in the exact same area as the others, I guess I could move it but still. Could there actually be that much difference in a reading just because of location within the tent? I would think not really that much. Especially RH, unless the mist is hitting one of the meters more than the other but still, shouldn’t the tent pretty much even out or do I have flow issues maybe? This

This was before I turned up the humidifier. 3 minutes before my last post...I know. Backwards timeline.

Also -Mr Miagi’d a lone flying little gnat-like insect. Slow and easy to track, first sign of life in the tent, WTF, already?

Hate the gnats, probably came in the dirt, i got some from fox farms happy frog stored outside in the rain, planted all my plants in it, had to do root drenched with neem oil for a couple weeks to get it under control, that was before flowering

I heard others say that about fox farms. I think it was random but I’ll keep posted. Will I have any problems if I want to switch my cycle timer to run lights more during night? Right now I am 18/6 and it’s 6am on to 12 pm off. I’d like to go on at like 4pm and run all night to 8 am. Can I do this seamlessly without messing up the plants?

I got my new foxfarms ocean forest from a grow shop this time, they had it covered by a roof and wrapped in plastic, I bought the other stuff from ace hardware and it was old and out in all the weather. That probably was a lot of it lol

Here’s how they look today. I’m think I’m going to be facing heat problems soon, I haven’t even turned lights on high and the temps are low to mid 80’s and it’s been cold and rainy here for San Diego. I was hoping a tent and exhaust fan would be enough if I went with LED lights, but it’s not looking like that. The leaves on a couple have one or two spots that have curled sort of...but not really curled. Any issues?

Dont worry about a little leaf twist on a young plant in soil. It will work it out. I just showed a diesel that was sensitive. A week later she looks fine.

Just gave them more water this morning with the nutrients from monday, that probably isn’t suggested but I thought it was better than plain water. Thoughts?
