So glad to hear she came back and that you got her the help she needed. I was riding this whole story by the seat of my pants, only because of my former vocation.
Coming from the medical side of my brain:
Things to keep in mind for the future, for any of you males out there...yes, women have lower tolerances for alcohol, prescription drug, even certain foods during this time. It sucks, I've had similar reactions, taking a toke, but I am not normal in that I'm always asking for feedback when I take anything. Also, it wasn't as extreme. I thought I had read your wife has liver trouble? If so, no good for ingesting THC orally, it will create an abnormal chemical. If she partakes in the future, cut it in half during sharkweek. My hubs takes cardiac meds that carry a grapefruit warning, so that's a negative on cannabis period. THC is a blood thinner, just like tobacco. Oddly, both will kill him, but keep me alive.
Coming from the spiritual side of my brain:
Many women are going through a spiritual transition right now, the world over. We just aren't talking about it to anyone. If you read in the news, our Earth Mother has taken on a second moon, if that tells you anything. (Whether or not it's temporary is a question; other planets have more than one moon, so why not ours?) Her yelling about Alpha and Omega is a very real thing, though it sounds unfamiliar and mentally unsound to those who aren't inclined to understand. Sober people are talking about it in the spiritual world. Shamans, mystics, and most people who are spiritually inclined are going through some heavy transitions right now, which will make me sound mentally unsound if I start outlining the details of what I have learned. Once you are over the shock of what you have experienced, I believe you will start noticing what I'm talking about.
Very glad you took her to the hospital, all of that being said. My heart goes out to you both.
