This isn't where I live. Jsyk. It's just a building on my property
Roger that. I only meant that it was an idea I have contemplated if my temps here this summer spiral out of control. I may do it just for the insurance it would provide when my house AC shuts off for even 5-10 min and my room the tent is in starts to bake FAST. The ceiling above my grow tent is the attic above the 2nd floor and probably gets to 130+ in the summer. It is going to be a battle for me for sure

Cold air falls, tie it high. Don’t let it condensate on electronics or plants.
I didn't have enough vent hose to make it to the tent. I just vented it into the room. The inline will pull it in. I was worried about condensation on the lights too.

My god, watching the temps climb in my tent when the power went out drove me crazy. "One more degree and I'm pulling them out". Then the power finally comes back in and I can settle down. It really does a number on me.

Guys this is a leaf, right? And I don't want to guage cloudiness of trichomes from the leaves, correct? But instead from the bud itself? Bc there's a good bit of amber in this pic but I was pretty sure it was just a leaf. And everything else was still more clear.

From that pic there I would say you are ready. How does trichs look from other areas? Tops, bottoms, and mids? It is a matter of preference most say from here on out. Lookin real solid though bud

Sorry I never saw this. That's the only spot I saw with any amber. Everything else is still clear. The last pic has some amber. Dude I finally got my tent down to 62° and 60% rh. I hooked up a new ac unit and I turned the dehumidifier setting up to 50% and shortly after the lights went out I went in there to check and that's what it was. I ended up turning off the second ac. And turned the dehumidifier to constant. But I'm ready bro. I will dry my buds properly.

Do these look like they're foxtailing? They are the buds closest to the lights.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking "no one's gotten back to you yet, chill out", as I was in my way out to raise the lights up a bit higher. So they look okay?
So far yes, they may tail yet, depending on the strain it's not necessarily bad to foxtail. Some people don't think it's appealing. Some strains naturally do it. near the end they may stack when the plant gets close to ripe

I read a bit on it and they said the same about genetics. I just thought there mightve been some heat/ light stress. It was hot last week. My tent got up into the mid 80's for a couple days until I got another ac unit going. Also thought maybe my light could be too close. I don't know about stacking, but that word does kinda describe what it looks like is happening right now. Thanks for the help

If it gets hot reduce your nutrient strength, where those are you'r probably done with ferts anyway?

some people confuse foxtailing with running, true foxtailing is normal for certain strains and desirable because some of the most pyschoactive ones tail, running is loose tops and thats by heat usually.

for instance, both of these strains will foxtail and most will say they look like shit while growing, but after smoking it the appearance doesn't matter. Most people go by visual appeal

I was actually going to ask you guys about that. I haven't stopped yet. I've heard not to stop nutrients and to stop. I don't know. I'm going to go hit the internet and check back with what you guys recommend. I didn't know that about cutting back on nutes when it's hot. How does it work?

Transpiration rates increase. This explains it. You can now find calculators online but want one that takes leaf temp into account.

I've gone through half that before, I need to read the rest. It's awesome info, kinda stresses me out when I read it bc my mind starts trying to figure out ways to better control vpd. Then I stop reading and start looking for materials to build a bigger tent with, lol. I don't know how to do this but I'm super excited to figure it out over the next few grows. I don't know how to control my humidity more precisely without maybe putting a dehumidifier inside the tent and setting it to the desired rh. But I have to build a bigger tent for that.

Control the humidity in the room the tent sits in unless youbhave a huge tent.

This is because we want to control the air coming into the tent. If you put it inside the tent it doesn’t have time to mix the air properly

If it was me I would go straight h2o and reduce the humidity and let them eat themselves until they are ripse,it looks like they have enough green left to finish
