I use ro. Ive read that you recommend buffering the water.
Normally what I have done is add ca/mg and my nutrients and my ph ends up at 6.1-6.5 to which I lower it to 5.7 (Im seeing I should do it to a lower # like 5.5) and then it drifts up fairly slowly. I very infrequently have big swings in my ph.
