    Drain to Waste run-off question

I'm doing a top drip DTW using 6" rockwool cubes. Currently I'm running my nutrients at 5.8ph and around 800ppm in the first week of flowering. I'm watering for about 6.5 minutes once a day using a mixture of 2 .5gph emitters or 1gph emitters... depending on the size of the plants when i set...

    Ipm

Had to use soil for a while and now my plants are infected with spider mites and thrips. not too terribly bad, but it needs to be dealt with. I've rotated from Floramite SC to Avid. The problem is that Avid only deals with thrips when there is contact. Aside from the continual frustration in...

    magnified light

not sure why it took me so long to try using one, but they are quite helpful for illuminating what you are doing and helping you see better. so i might be getting old but i've found it harder to get really good light on what i am trimming without generating a ton of heat around me in the...

    AN Melon Head

So I had to go to the hydro store for some ph down and happened to look up at the reflectors hanging from the ceiling. they happened to have an ultragrow cool tube right next to a traditional ultrgrow reflector. Imagine my surprise when the traditional reflector looked EXACTLY like the melon...

    Triacontanol

I believe this is the "secret ingredient" in Boost. I see that it is usually used as a foliar spray but was wondering if anybody was using this in their reservoir. if so, what are you running it at strength wise? thank you :)

nice substitute to pricey hydro specific fluorescents

Home Depot has a Hi-Bay 6 light t-8 setup that looks a whole lot like the quantum bad boys but only $79. Since I use fluor. for vegging, I'm not concerned about those overpriced 50+ wattt lamps.
