GH BioThrive feeding schedule and calculator

General Hydroponics' BioThrive label rates, scaled to the water you're mixing. GH doesn't publish a week-by-week BioThrive chart, so this follows the product directions by stage.

How to read a feeding chart Schematic of a 12 week feed chart. Each week shows the label dose as a dashed outline, a solid start at 50 percent, and a gold work-up band to 75 percent. Notes from the chart

  • Amounts are mL per US gallon of water, from GH's BioThrive label directions. Feed on your normal watering schedule.
  • Add BioThrive to fresh water first, then any other supplements, stir, and check pH.
  • The aggressive range is shown as 10 to 15 mL ("up to 15" on the label). The transition stage uses half of each, as GH suggests for sensitive crops.

Common questions

Is there a BioThrive weekly chart?

GH doesn't publish one. These are the label rates from GH's BioThrive product pages: 5 to 10 mL per gallon for most soils, up to 15 for heavy feeders.

When do I switch from Grow to Bloom?

GH says to start the switch when you see pre-flowers or early blooms, optionally blending half-strength Grow and Bloom for 1 to 2 weeks.

Signs I'm feeding too much?

GH says to back off if you see dark, clawed leaves or tip burn.

Still not sure? Ask the growers.

Post your nutrients, how much you're feeding, your medium and a photo. Members who've run GH BioThrive will tell you what they'd change.
