Notes from the chart

  • All amounts are mL per gallon. Grow A and B, and Bloom A and B, each get the amount shown.
  • Balance is used as a pH up, not dosed. If you use Blended Balance, Athena says not to add another potassium silicate product.
  • Pre-soak media before planting: coco at pH 5.5 to 5.8 and EC 3.5 to 4.0, rockwool at pH 5.0 to 5.5 and EC 2.5 to 3.0.
  • Flush with RO water plus 10 mL Cleanse per gallon to under 0.1 EC: the last 3 days in coco, the last day in rockwool.
  • Athena calls this a baseline: adjust weeks to your run and strain.

04

What growers here actually run

From the THCFarmer archive

  • Athena runs at a higher EC, so watering and drybacks matter. Thinks coco and perlite aren't ideal for it; it suits a zero-CEC medium like rockwool better.

    Dr.Green55 Read the post →
  • Feeds Athena at 1.0 EC while cleaning up lowers and taking clones in veg.

Common questions

Is the Athena Blended amount for each part?

Yes. Grow A and Grow B, and Bloom A and Bloom B, each get the amount shown.

With Fade or without?

Athena publishes both. With Fade, weeks 8 and 9 drop Bloom A and B and use Fade plus PK. Without Fade, weeks 8 and 9 keep a little Bloom A and B with PK. Use the switch at the top of the calculator.

What does CaMg 3-5 mean?

Athena gives a range of 3 to 5 mL per gallon for CaMg. Use the high end with RO or soft water, the low end with harder tap water.

Still not sure? Ask the growers.

Post your nutrients, how much you're feeding, your medium and a photo. Members who've run Athena Blended will tell you what they'd change.
