    Hi, I grow outdoors only.

Unless you’ve been force feeding nutrients there is no benefit to flushing. The question about removing fan leaves depends in part how much bud is in your dry room. It’s best to remove the fan leaves, but if it is a smaller plant I might leave the leaves on to slow the dry process. Congrats...

Outdoor grow, big Amnesia Haze kolas, big storm coming. Opinion?

Consider using a leaf blower to dry off the plants after a storm. Been growing plants subject to wind and rain storms for a while. I let them grow and blow them off with leaf blower.. If the wind snaps the cages and breaks the plant I can still salvage the buds. Pulling early is just such a...

    Milk Does your plant good.

I sprayed it on leaves, can’t recall solution rate, .I was probably after aphids. Maybe the rate was too high.

    Milk Does your plant good.

I’ve used milk outdoors and it made a sour milk smell. Unpleasant.

Insecticide on 1st week flower, okay?

We have had to spray during first flower. Is what it is. Just don’t continue, you should be fine.

Has anybody used Diatomaceous earth all the way through flower?

Latex type gloves and spill around trunk, maybe six inches.

Has anybody used Diatomaceous earth all the way through flower?

When dry, de has very sharp edges that will cut up small insects, killing or preventing access. We don’t use nearly enough to affect soil structure

    Around the stalk aka trunk.

Thought I was ready to chop but new growth?

If your buds are ready, harvest. The fox tailing will continue as the buds start to over ripen. There is nothing beneficial in waiting on foxtails. My personal experience, anyway.

Let's see your 2023 outdoor grow!

Just starting to flower. A gdp has really stretched prior flowering, a surprise since I expected her to be short squat indica leaning. Another gdp (not shown)is a couple of weeks into flower already, ahead of all the others. A month late start this year because we are in Sierra mtns and got...

Let's see your 2023 outdoor grow!

The leaves are actually your light collectors. Re Moving a couple of older fan leaves is fine, but don’t strip your plants of leaves thinking the plant will have more sun to absorb.

Never jheard of mixing with water to spray. Usually used is a air puffer, put de in and squeeze puffer. We just toss around the trunk and base of plant. Not effective when wet, but supposedly works again once dry.

Why are the leaves so dam big.

I grew Acapulco gold from Barney farms…nothing like the good old days, but average pot. I never heard of a seed company sending more seeds to replace non sprouting seeds. My company refuses to discuss growing plants because the seeds are sold for novelty, not for growing.
